Why does TaylorMade have to make their drivers stupid lengths, and then if you want on at something normal they care less about swingweight? It is a great club, but they are dropping the ball on this.

It sucks that they don't normally SW custom orders. Billy bobs does offer aftermarket weights that make it a breeze to bring weight up if need be.

Be careful if you are removing the m2's weight, its loctite in there & the aluminum is so soft you would swear its made out of marshmallow :lol: Few threads on here about how to get it done. I had to drill mine out unfortunately, but other peoples just pop out no worries.

Before I ordered mine -1.25in, I messaged TM and they told me the same thing. So ordered with the plan to get it hot melted. When I got the club it was swing weighted at the stock SW. Not sure If they have different weight heads for shorter builds, but I was pleasantly surprised. YMMV.

Search a little: shortening a club always means a drop in SW points. In the case of the M2, adding a new weight (if lead tape is not your thing) is a no-brainer.

I would just figure for a custom order on a $400 club, that this should be a non issue. I know Callaway had no issue with it.

I've submitted dozens of orders through TM and had them arrive exactly per request every single time.

All I do is submit my order, wait about two hours (for the order to process through the system) and then call Taylormade customer service (Option 1).

Tell them what I want (logo up, swing weight, etc.), and it arrives within a few days exactly how I requested it.

I know it's easier to come to a forum and tell us all how it oughtta be, but sometimes it's better to just pick up the phone and talk to someone who can do something about it.
