My "putter ho" days are over and I've found a new stick!

Hi all,

Just picked golf back up last spring and I got the sickness really bad this time. Must have ordered about 10 putters since march and had a nice collection going, but then the problems began. Which one do I game? Should I use this one or hoard it? You guys know what I'm talking about! In any event, I noticed my stroke wasn't consistent after constantly playing something different, so i did what any self respecting putter ho would do- sold my collection and bought some more! Lol however l, this time around , I ended up with two putters and had the cash to finally spring for tour betti that I've always wanted. In any event I'm trying to suppresss the urge to pick up another one and for now, it's working! This would be a good time time to introduce my new stick- a flow neck betti tour special (15/15). Cut it down to my specs and it plays beautiful!

Anyways, i would love to hear from all of you putter hos and if you happen to know anything about this putter please chime in! I have no idea if it's origins and background, so any help is appreciated

I too and quite the putter ho!! I recently got a machine M10 adjuster and I think my Ho days are over. Great feel, looks just like an 009 and gives me the freedom to change weight and neck style. I go back and forth between standard plumbers and flow necks. Flow fits my stroke better but my eyes prefer the plumbers.

I'm also a bit of a putter grip hoe. I change all the time and can't seem to find the "perfect" grip.

Sweet machine! Ironically I just traded a M2A and miss it! Lol the carbon is awesome. Not as soft as I thought and it feels very pure when you hit it right. I've decided that a plumbers neck is best for my stroke (other putter is a plumber) but the more I use this one it's growing on me.

I started using a Ping Anser Milled #4 and can't believe how soft it is. I've been rimming the cup all week with this putter. Just pick up a another one to monkey with different grips.

Golfdoctor, I actually held on to my 50 dollar ping answer 2 ! A little light but a great stick! Don't tempt me to try the milled versions! Lol

I found a "stubby" plumbers neck that machine offers. It should give me a flow neck toe hang but still look like a plumbers.

I rolled a few betti's and I really like that face milling.

I'm jealous of the fact that you're ready to let go of being a putter hoe. I'm trying to resist purchasing another putter. I have issues...

They have a few different models. There are a few on ebay right now and ever so often pop up on the bst.

There website is down, I can tell you that. I've also heard that they aren't in business at the moment, from what I gather some folks are still waiting on putters ordered months ago.

Interesting that the first and last of this run from 2002 find new homes in the same month. Tour lefty flow necks are rare from Bettinardi! Great finds from probably not a putter ho cure. LOL

Good stuff "Mikebb" if your putter "ho" days are done. Mine are ramping up and most likely will never taper off. :D

Yep, same place. They flooded ebay with a ton of sick lefty Betti's a couple weeks ago.

Same here. Bought a $30 Ping Scottsdale off of eBay, and never made so many putts. Have had Scotty's, custom putters, etc, and this just works. Scorecard has me convinced...

My new one got here Wednesday. I have a feeling it'll be in the bag for a while. I ho around until I find a keeper. Putted with a Scotty Newport beach from 2003 to 2016. 2ball fang lasted about a year. Time to go back to a blade style.
