Mizuno Experience Center - Atlanta @ SunTrust Park

Has anyone done a fitting here? If so, how was it? Cost?

Wow, so I did a chat with Mizuno to see how much a fitting cost. They said it was free.

They've built their clubs and shipped out of Norcross for more than 20 years. Neat to see golf being featured at SunTrust Park.

I'm guessing they use their swing speed and release wand, shaft analyzer, to fit you into shafts.

Following. I was about to head there for new JPX fitting and order before I found my Forged TEC irons.

I didn't call. I went onto Mizuno's website and started a chat.

I went in April this year and felt like it was a waste of my time. The guy who fit me was somewhat clueless on how to do a fitting. After hitting balls for and hour he told me what shaft and iron to play. When I asked about my clubs being one inch longer he then took my length and lie? He was going to fit me for standard length and lie irons..

I'm 6.4 and always played 3/4 to and inch over and 2 up in irons. He put impact and lie tape on the club face and everything was off the toe?

He told me 1/2 inch over standard lie...

I wouldn't go there if you want a good fitting. The store is more of an advertisement for everything they make (baseball equipment, golf clubs, shoes, etc), it is not golf specific.

Just wanted to bump this old thread. I almost cancelled my appointment after reading. I had a great experience. I've been searching for iron shafts for years and was just wanting to try some different shafts. The fitter (Kallie) and the optimizer recommended X7s and I didn't even want to try and I didn't get along with x100s at all. To my surprise they were amazing. She didn't push me into new heads at all and they offer a great price for reshafting (cheaper than I could purchase and do myself) to existing customers. I was blown away by the service. They also will apply fitting free to the reshaft fees as well. I would highly recommend giving it a try if you're a Mizuno player or want to try them out.
