Restoring a Scotty Cameron

So I purchased this Putter online before seeing any pics and when it arrived it came with glitter and fake jewels glued all over the face with tape and glue on top of that and spray paint over everything.. so I worked on stripping it clean and ended up with this.. after some sanding and cleaning all the letterings this is where I’m at.. I still might try to sand some more but I’m not planning on keeping so might just leave it as is and paint fill to finish it up.. what do you think.. should I keep at it and restore this fully? Or do you think this is as good as it will get without messing up the weight too much?

Ho hum pro plat, not the most sought after or desirable, but still a solid gamer. If you resto it, it'll probably end up extremely light and will require a lot of lead tape to get it to a playable weight.

Not worth restoring IMHO, don;t even think that the Custom Shop will touch it in that condition. You may find an option of restoring by contacting BOS or some other non-Scotty resto shops, I know it would bother the hell out of me staring down at that thing, but if you like it, play it as is.

Thanks I’m not planning on keeping it.. I have new ones, but for the price I paid I couldn’t pass it up... just wanted to restore as much as possible and flip for a couple extra bucks and so someone who always wanted a scotty and couldn’t afford it could play it.. the guy who had it was mistreating this thing and It had to be saved...
