Scotty Cameron Putter RKI needed. Please help me authenticate

Hi everybody,

I have recently acquired a Scotty Cameron Concept 2 putter. I'm a seller on eBay and at first I was stoked when I found the putter and then when I did a little research my joy turned to terror because I found out about the counterfeits. Why do the Chinese have to counterfeit everything good in this world? I'm not a golfer, on the occasion I come across a nice club or two I sell them. Since you guys are familiar with excellent gear like Cameron way better than I am I'm asking for some help making sure what I have is the real thing. The last thing I want to do is embarrass myself by putting a fake Scotty Cameron up for sale and damage my reputation. My big concern after closely looking over the putter is much to my dismay I found what looks like Chinese or Japanese writing on a hologram sticker so now I'm probably hoping against hope. Anyhow please take a look and let me know.

Circle T logo on face looks a bit ”thin”, they usually are thicker. 25g weights should be in copper i.e other color and they should have some sort of stamping were yours seems to be blank. The shaft with it stickers probably came from a regular scotty Cameron since it has those stickers and grip. I cant tell for sure if this is fake or not because the putter looks pretty good. But I say its fake because of my statements. Hope Im wrong for your sake.

Fake.. real 25g weights are copper, circle t font on the face off and they dont use the holograms stopped using those couple years back on stock shafts and dont even believe this is real cs shaft either

Bad luck mate - but great to come across an honest person. Use the head of that baby as a paperweight and put it down to experience. :-)

If a magnet sticks to it, it's actually a Carbon head, not Stainless Steel..............

Some stainless steels are magnetic, others not.

I'd be interested to know if the screws on the back are actually screws, and if therefore the face actually detaches from the body. If so, man that's a heck of a lot of work to go through for a fake.
