2017 mixed bag

Been on this site for a while now and haven’t done a WITB before so here goes! Been playing this game for many years. Started off at 9 or 10 years old, growing up near St. Andrews it was a natural thing to do! Have the game up in my teens as I found other things more fun. Started playing again in mid 20’s and been back playing for around 10 years now. Lowest handicap was 7.0, but after a few niggling injuries and moving to a new area I’m around 9 now. After tinkering a lot over the years I’ve now been fitted for almost everything in the bag and here’s what’s in there now.

Driver: Callaway Epic 10.5 Degree. Set at N-S and weight central. I mentioned in a previous thread that I had been fortunate enough to win this driver and was fitted into an Ad-Di 6 stiff shaft. I found the shaft a bit erratic on the course (Proforce V2 76, and RIP alpha 70 being previous driver shafts). I’ve picked up an Ad-Di 7x and am loving this combo now.

3 wood: Titleist 917f2 16.5 Degree. Shaft is an Ad-Di 8s. Surefit CG set at neutral. Recent impulse purchase hasn’t been on course yet!

21 Degree Hybrid: Titleist 818H1. Shaft is a Tensei Pro White 90 Stiff. Set at B1 and 12g fade weight. Loved this hybrid in testing. Just arrived and haven’t had it on course yet, just hit a few at the range. A hybrid that sits square to open.

4-PW: Mizuno JPX 900 Tour. Shafts are KBS Tour X. I’ve played Titleist CB incarnations over the years with DGX100. The combo of the Mizuno head and KBS shaft feels much smoother. Half an inch longer and 2 Degrees up.

Wedges: Vokey SM6 50, 54 and 60. With standard wedge flex and standard length and lie.

Putter: the main problem area at the moment. Have flirted between a Mil-Spec 350g and a customised White Ice #7 with the carbon insert from spryevo.
