Epic is out...enter the Rogue

The Epic has left the building and in walks the Rogue. I don't have many details about the new driver but received this picture from a friend who is a Callaway staffer this morning. Enjoy!

I was told that the crown was the same as the Epic but with blue instead of green. I'm trying to get more pics!

With the correct shaft, this could be Rogue-ier...

Wow, so they aren't continuing the Epic line. Doesn't make sense to me when you rave about a product line so much and then don't continue you it with the same name.

Cool - I hope they make the Subzero in a 10.5 lefty this time. Epic was only available in 9.0 for left hand.

Alright so I can't get anymore pictures at the moment but was told "the regular and draw versions have a little long heads compared to the Epic, but the Sub Zero is about the same. There is NO sliding weight on the regular version now as well. Callaway is also replacing the Epic iron range with the Rogue and Rogue pro irons" I'm guessing the price point will be the same.

Agreed. I have to say I'm looking forward to giving this new blue one a shot though, whatever they call it. Epic SZ is my favorite driver in a looooonnnggg time. Amazingly forgiving for how low spinning it is. Honestly I have a hard time imagining how they could improve upon it, but we shall see.

Eh, I felt the same way about green racing stripes, then I hit a few balls and saw the numbers and flight. I got used to green racing strips pretty quickly, lol.

I wish they could come up with something cleaner looking for a washer under the adapter screw. Really? 3 different sized plain steel washers? How long do they need to get it right?

Can buy a new epic sz for around $380...and had f7+ in hand today @ $138(Dick's) so no thank you to $500 clubs. Thing is, epic in hour long test did not give me overall better numbers than ls tec and spin was higher...4 whole yards longer though.

edit: I'm also in love with my KK dual core 60TX...can I get a credit on stock shaft? Thanks again WRX & MRC...incredible product!

CalaMade? Frequent releases...if the difference is a paint job and moving the weight screws around a few MM to promote "X" ball flight that all the fan boys are trying to acheive, then these will sell well.

Sole kinda reminds me of the Diablo series with the fins.

So they are going completely to the Rogue name. Wonder if Aldila will be mad, or they will have the Aldila rogue shaft as their main shaft.
