Tomorrow at 10am and hopefully next week when on holiday. Mild temperatures so only 2 layers required.

Played 18 yesterday and another 18 this morning. Today is probably the last round for me in 2017. Weather forecast is not looking good in Louisville between now and the end of the year.

I'm in Kentucky also, farther north. Based on the forecast, today was probably my last round of the year.

I had a bunch of vacation to burn. Played Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, yesterday, and today.

Still hopeful the rain and warmer temps wash away today's ice storm so that courses might open tomorrow. Like to get a round in before the forecasted snow storm tomorrow night. Wishful thinking huh

Played yesterday. Between Christmas, traveling, and family activities, probably my last round of the year.

Got a round in this morning here in NJ just outside of Philly. High today will be 55ish. Had a little rain from 16 in. Oh well it’s supposed to be highs in the low 30’s all week next week.

I don't live in the north like you guys, I live in Florida, where it is hot all year long. You can't even consider winter a real winter here, because it's only cold when a temporary cold front enters in and destroys everything we've come to know and love. Otherwise it's like **** down here, burning nice and crisp and we can wear sandals during the winter months.

So I play all year, sweating like a dog everytime. It's truly the glory of having no seasons.

When I lived in Germany I lost my mind thinking "**** it I can't play golf in September because of white stuff". I still wore short sleeves in the snow like a boss (i.e. a real Floridian).

Golf to me is more annoying than it is fun, but really it's just nice to have something to do all year round.

I played today in the same area and got soaked. It was relatively windy too. The only other players on the course left after a couple of holes.

Guess life is all about timing. Mine must not have been so great.

But it certainly beat the snow we've had the past couple of weekends. It was good to get out for some silly season bonus golf.

Played 4 days this week but had to skip yesterday. North wind with gusts to 35 and temps hovering around freezing most of the day. Won't be able to play for a few more days due to holiday travels and the polar vortex. Ought be able to tee it up again before the new year though if the highs are in the mid 40's and the wind is under a dozen.

Haha! If that were the temperature here right now and it was sunny, many of us would probably be wearing shorts on the course. image/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Got 15 holes in yesterday. Breezy and dry. Greens a bit mushy but it is December. Finished with 3 birdies on the bounce. Yes indeed.

Walked 15 holes on a locked up closed course, December 22, 53 degrees and overcast Supposed to snow today, and Christmas, and highs in the 20's this week.

Probably, no more golf this year.

I generally cut off my golf in November after the Club Championship. The area Amateur circuit rounds and tournaments also are over by then, so it's a good time to stop.

Added incentive: The Missouri and Southern Illinois golf associations only allow HDCP posts from March 1 to Nov. 15.

We're socked in with winter for about a month now, so I'll maybe get in some launch monitor time at a couple of the shops. This winter I mainly want to test some loft and shaft-length differences on hybrids and FWs.

Played 18 at Falls Village in Durham on Saturday afternoon (12/23). Temp was around 70 but it was cloudy and a little breezy. It's a course that overseeds so it's nice to have the ball sit up a little (providing you find the fairway!)

Didn’t get above double digits below zero today. Been done with golf for two and a half months. But, somebody got a practice net and mat to set up in the garage for Christmas so this winter will be better than most!

Played nine a few days ago. Shot 41. Under my cap anyway. Tomorrow will be a high of 27. Indoor putting and chipping and a glass of bourbon and a fire are in order.

Currently -4* here in Upstate, NY. We have about 5in. of snow on the ground. Every time someone posts about playing golf in 70* weather I get jealous. Looking forward to spring already.

    Happy New Year, folks.

Played thru DEC 24. We are in the Polar Vortex wave now at 15 degrees, with no relief for at least the next 2 weeks. i will play in any temp over 32 degrees as long as the wind factor is minimal. Keeping the hands warm is the biggest challenge. Hand warmers in each pocket, winter golf gloves ,ski cap, multiple fleece layers with no swing restriction make it bearable.

In MS I can play during the winter. But it's iffy weather. A little over a week ago we got 5 inches of snow. Three days later I was playing golf. Today it's rainy and cool. Might get to play Wed then crappy weather again. If I get to play 2 times a week I'm fortunate. I know the northern guys aren't shedding any tears for me.

Same here in Alabama. Was down in the 20's but supposed to be sunny and 47 tomorrow, so no work for me!

Well that didn't happen. I was only able to get to the range on Christmas Eve as the ice didn't melt and then we had a snow storm on Christmas day with 4 inches or so on the ground. Now it's 5 degrees out with no relief in sight for at least a week so not sure when I'll get out again. Guess all I can hope for is some range time for the next few weeks assuming it warms up a little. Watching old golf tournaments is getting lame.

Got to play early Sunday morning, Dec. 24th. It was tough. It was cold. It was uncomfortable... but it was worth it. Now we are "hit" with the massive cold, winter snap, so I don't see me playing golf for many, many (maybe even months?) weeks... sad face here...
