Callaway Epic Hybrid - Feedback?

Did a search for "Callaway Epic Hybrid", and in 4 pages of listings, could not find one specifically talking about it.

Does anyone have feedback on this club or if you know a link specifically talking about it, can you please post it.

I had a full bag club fitting on Tuesday, including 4H and 3H Epic Hybrids. Let me start by saying I am a high handicapper, so my results won't be the same as yours. I hit these hybrids well, with nearly fairway wood distance and better accuracy. The Epic irons and hybrids performed so well that I ordered a set.

Epic hybrid is the best i tested... doesn't lounge to hook, nice flight, holds greens.

I have Epic 4h, 3w sz, & 5w sz. All are good heads, but you really need to get the shaft right imo. Personally I hate the stock Rogue, and have replaced all 3 with Tour AD-DI. Much, much better.

The only downside I'd note with the 4h specifically is that it feels a little hollow. Not a huge deal, but definitely not quite as satisfying a thud as I might wish.

It's a LONG hybrid. The 3hybrid was carrying 240 for me and I carry a TM r15 19 225-230. I play a fade and for me it had a left bias. Shaft likely contributed to that bit it seemed to want to go left.

It looks good. Sets up well. Feels good. Solid hybrid, just wasn't for me. I feel the same about the 818 hybrids too.

Is anyone playing this with the Kuro Kage black shaft?

I absolutely love this hybrid. I was just fit into a 3 and 4 hybrid through Club Champion. This was the only part of my game I had not had a full Trackman fitting on. I had specific numbers I was trying to get for gapping purposes and wanted to improve the flight and landing angle in order to hold the par 5s in 2. I hit all of the current model heads, and the Epic was the major standout. I did not notice a bias in the head, and it has a tremendous feel and sound. It was definitely the hottest face that I hit. We were able to get this dialed in to exactly what I wanted. I am really excited to get on the course this weekend with them!

I ended up picking up the Epic Hybrid with the Kuro Kage shaft that I’ve been eyeing at Golf Galaxy for a month. Now I just need to decide if I like it better than my Rogue Hybrid.

Anyone compare to 815 Alpha? Wondering if has a more solid thud sound.
