The tour needs more tasteful plaid, cardigans, steel spikes and far fewer logos.

A mélange of Brian Barnes and a Tiger.

Pretty cool Ryder Cup record that Brian Barnes has that will never ever be duplicated. Care to guess?

Beat Jack 2X in a day.

Barnes once marked his ball on the 18th green with a beer can at the Scottish Open.

That's great. Barnes was a great character and a helluva player back in his day on The ET. Beating Jack in singles twice in the same day is great.

    Great video of Brian's career.

I love what Arnie says at 3:15.

I had a slew of cool pictures from the 70s on this thread but they disappeared after the update...

Think they were around pages 2-7 if memory serves...

For the longest time I thought that was Will Ferrel and not actually Tom Kite.

If the why is aimed at the last sentence, the answer is - to stay healthy and enjoy life more. Guys 50+ should not go for Cardio, HIT and heavy gym workout will stimulate the testosterone. It has for sure helped me. I’m 5 years younger now than 2012 in every aspect but som wrinkles in my face.

I just knew it. Old Tom Morris, although revered as some sort of golf megastar in his era, stopped at the turn and held up play just like any weekend player.

How is it possible to hit a 1 iron like that?! How?!

Training, lots of it - and a lot of natural ability.
1- and 2-irons are not that difficult to hit, but to get the most of them is.
