vice was good, but they dont seem to be trying to improve or innovate.

Perfectly happy with Vice Pro and Pro Soft....if they were priced same as ChromeSoft/SoftX I'd be still playing the CS, but for half the price, Vice are good enough.

I find them consistent, so don't know what others aren't finding in way of consistency

Their aim seems to be good balls at a good price for consumers. I'm sure updating their balls would lead to upping their prices.

Now I don't think they can keep these forever and an eventual improvement is needed but not as often as everyone else.

I have been very happy with the Vice Pro.  The balls are very durable and soft feel.  The price point I sent very fair for the quality of the ball.

I played several rounds with my PRO Tour + and very happy with the performance of the ball, especially given the price. Where they really shine for me is in the wind, even my playing partners were surprised the last time that my shots seemed less affected by lateral winds.

First somewhat normal weather/temps yesterday. Vice Pro worked as expected, very controllable spin and in the wind. Long as my former gamer, from what I can tell on a course we play every week. Durability is very good as well. For half the price of former gamer, these are more than worth a test drive, IMO.
The Lime yellow/green is very easy to spot anywhere on the course.

Played the last 2 days with the same Vice Pro and plan to use it again today. I had bought a bunch of these 2 years ago, at the time I was testing a lot of different balls so they got thrown to the side. For some reason I decided to put one in play Tuesday and was pretty impressed with the distance, feel and spin I got with them. I don't have a very high swing speed (100 mph with driver) so I was pretty impressed with how they checked up on the greens and they feel amazing off the putter.
