Bushnell Tour V4- not hitting pins?

My Bushnell Tour V4 has suddenly started having trouble hitting pins. I rarely get the "jolt" anymore, and often get background distances behind the pin. The battery indicator is full, although I should probably change the battery anyway just to be sure. It has been dropped, maybe it is out of alignment?



Anyone else have this problem?

    Not with my V4, but yes with a Medalist. I don't know if it had been dropped, but it wouldn't pick up pins. Bushnell said it had some alignment issues. Cost about $50 to repair, plus cost of shipping back to Bushnell. I'd send it in and have them take a look.

    Defiantly try a new battery first (despite what the meter says). Mine is a Nikon, not a Bushnell but I never get any kind of indication that the battery is going, it just stops working all of a sudden and I have friends w/o other makes and models where it's the same. Making sure the lens are clean is another good idea.



    If that doesn't work then it could be an alignment or some other issue that requires more extensive work.

    Revising an old thread I am having the same problem as the OP. V4 PATRIOT has problem locking on pins,put a new battery in and it is not any better. Should send it to Bushnell but not reading great things about their customer service.

    I'm the OP. I think mine was knocked out of alignment when it dropped. I packaged a couple of old rangefinders and a watch together, and bought a Pro X2, which I love.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu.
