How do you organize your bags?

I'm sure this has come up a million times...... but how do you guys organize your clubs in your bags? Some people put their putter and wedges at the top, and some put woods. Interested to see the replies.

I'll start.

I own 2 bags, a BagBoy Revolver. It has 2 putter wells, and the woods/hybrids are designed to go in the middle. Decent bag, but heavy.

I also have an Ogio (forgot model) thats about 8 years old. It's designed that the woods are at the top and then long irons-short irons-wedges +putter.

My bags are all 6 way dividers, I organize them as follows...

Putter, 3w / 3i, Driver

9,8,7 / 6,5,4

60, 56 / 52, Pw

I just switched my organization in my 4-way b/c I switched to a fat putter grip.

Before:

Dr, 3W, 3h, putter

8, 9, PW | 5, 6, 7

Now:

PW, AW, 54, 58

I still have a Sun Mountain Swift X with only two slots.

If I ever put my Jones Player's bag back in play (It's a version with "Northwestern" down the side and I currently attend the university of Illinois, so it may be a while)

14 clubs in a SM Swift X. I have always been intriqued by that model carry bag.

Does it work well with a full set ? Or does it sometimes get a little too tight?

Sun Mountain 4.5 14-way carry bag here. Used to always put the putter down with the wedges, but with this new bag and my current set up (and the Spider putter being so wide) I moved it up top on the side.

Do most 14 way guys put there driver in the front slot? I find it easier when riding in a cart at least that its easier to have woods in the back and putter up front.

It doesn't align seamlessly.. Driver is a little higher than iron slots.. general idea.

I've never had a problem TBH. Everyone thinks that your clubs will never come out of the bag but in reality that happens maybe one time a round if that, and all you have to do is when it gets stuck halfway out, just put it back in and take it out again. Although it might help that I have cord grips. They're firm and grippy on the hands, but not necessarily tacky together. I think it might be a tiny bit bigger problem with something like a GP Tour Wrap where it's tacky rubber to tacky rubber.

only problem I have is sometimes not being able to find the right iron for a few seconds cuz it's buried under the others, LOL. Had this bag for years and I'll only get rid of it is if it breaks, or ping or stitch bags start coming in purple again.

I have a 15 way Ping Pioneer. I alway drive the cart when playing with my regular golf buddy and have my clubs arranged accordingly.

I use an original Jones carry bag. Top row is clubs with head covers, irons in the middle, and wedges in the bottom slot.
