Bonobos Highland Pants Fit - Comparison to Under Armour / Adidas /Callaway etc?

How would the Bonobos Highland Golf Pants compare to other brands in terms of fit? I mostly wear Under Armour golf pants, with some Adidas and Callaway thrown in.

I was trying to figure out if the Slim Fit would work, or if I need to stick with the Straight Fit. Most of my pants are Under Armour match Play, which I think are straight fit. But they are a little big/baggy.

To be honest, only way to tell is if you try them on as everyone has different opinion on fit and feel. Scour ebay for some. Hopefully you'll find in your size.

I'll give you some background / reference. I'm about 165, 5'10. Waist is 31 and I usually get 30 via Nike Modern Fit Washed pant / shorts. Bonobos I've gotten in 32 in Slim and I feel on the thigh area is a good fit, but not as tapered as I like on the bottom. The Tailored fit for Bonobos Highland is perfect for me thought I like it tighter / tapered. Tailored is hard to find on ebay but if you're in luck, try that on before purchasing them from Bonobos.com. I've been getting 31x32 size and have it hemmed to become inseam of 31 / 30.5 (depending on the fit). Also the slim fit while its good, I plan to have it tailored to be more tapered by cutting it down a bit on the seam to become less baggy.

I had a few Match Play pants and felt they were pretty baggy compared to Bonobos. I primarily wear Nike's modern fit and Bonobos pants now. I have some RLX golf pants but needed to hem/slim them up the same way some of the bonobos are for my preference.

I have quite a few pairs. I'm a bigger guy (6'3 198lbs). I wear slim fit in jeans/chinos/dress pants/ golf pants from bonobos and they fit great. But i am not a fan of really baggy stuff anyway. I'd say they're comparable to the standard nike pants in straight fit. The quality of the highland pants is really nice though. Feels more premium than most things you buy at a golf store. I think golf galaxy is starting to carry them now in stores.

UA are a little stretchier and sit a little lower on the waist... little more athletic feeling. Bonobos are still very comfy, but are slightly dressier.

Exact same sentiment on UA’s slim fit in black. Ended up donating them to thrift store as they were still in great shape but no longer black in color. They do have a nice feel to them and don’t stand out in the workplace as a ‘golf’ pant. Heavy quality to them that just feels nice.

Nike is my favorite athletic clothing and accessory brand. But other than the grey mid-weight perforated pants from a few seasons ago, their new bottoms stand out as a ‘golf’ pant. Not a bad thing but I prefer a dual purpose pair of pants. Paying a higher price for slacks is fine if I can comfortably wear them in both work and play.

Bonobos’ Highland Slim Fit is perfect to me for having this dual purpose. With the slim fit you don’t have the zipper on the jinside of each leg as the straight fit does. I have both as I couldn’t pass up some Marshall’s deals I stumbled on. Bonobos does also offer great slacks/khakis aside from the Highland. Slim fit in the Weekday Warrior is great and pretty true to my sizing. Another pair I have but am unsure of name has style number 11599-BLH26 8920062 13839 on tag. Slim fit as well and although being 100% cotton could be worn on the course and go unnoticed.

Like previous posters have stated, you can get lucky on eBay finding Highland in your size and other Bonobos bottoms. Ross & Marshall’s have also been good to me and my recent Bonobos obsession. Don’t forget about zipper on straight fit. Decide if you like the look of it and fit.

Can anyone comment on the non-slim & non-taper varieties? I typically wear straight leg UA & think bonobos’ athletic fit or straight may be comparable? Thanks
