I really like the looks of the 2 ball but hate the new insert in the o works line, any one recommend any other models (metal x, white hot etc) which do members recommend thanks for your feedback

I'm personally a big fan of the ProType 2-Ball. Prefer it to some of the inserts

I have the white hot 2 ball, I guess one of the originals. Bought it from a buddy who sent it to odyssey/callaway and had a black shaft put in it. I love it. It will be hard to change putters when I pick up the next one but I know I will never get rid of it and it will be the one I probably go back and forth too for many years.

Ha kinda wish Odyssey had a custom program...would love a black headed two ball, with the two circles in white, and a white hot insert, and a black shaft

You could get all that done (other than the white hot insert) by doing it through SpryEvo. See mine as pics below. The balls on my White Steel 2 ball were done in brushed silver, with silver writing. He does copper and aluminum inserts, and I did the aluminum. The aluminum insert has outstanding feel and durability, as opposed to the softer Odyssey ones.

I've also heard good things on here about slighter mods but no experience.

I've moved on to a Scotty as my main putter but no plans to get rid of the 2 ball.

I agree, ProType is by far the best one to me.

ProType and Tour Design are great options if you don't like inserts. I still have my Tour Design 2-Ball Blade that finds its way into the bag whenever I need a change.

Try to find a DFX to give a whirl. I picked up a DFX 2-ball blade not too long ago and I think that I'm going to love it. Dark in color, with the black insert that is not as soft as the white hot inserts. Good looking putter in my opinion and a great feel to it.

I’ve had several and the protype is the only one I still have.

protype or "old" 2 ball with XG insert, couple of different xg's around. Best one is with the XG with 3 dots framing each side of the insert. like this one

My vote is for the White Hot Pro Two Ball. WHP is the best insert odyssey has ever made.

I find the V-Line 2 Ball to be the easiest to line up for me. I don't like the more rounded shape of most 2 Ball models. The pictured one is an RX model, love that insert.

Will odyssey put in black shafts if you send to them? I can’t find a black double bend shaft for 2 ball and versa 1w.

    Thanks
