Srixon Z765 vs Z745 drivers comapred?

I hit the 765 at a demo show yesterday and loved it. Thought i might look to pick up a used one to mess around with. While looking i noticed that the 745 sells super cheap. I have searched but cant find a thread comparing the two. Has anyone hit them head to head or moved from one to the other and have any opinions of how they compare? Is the 765 a major upgrade over the 745?

Hit both. Both are probably the best feeling drivers in recent memory. Distance is great too. Regarding numbers, not much of an increase between the two. Id go 745 and upgrade shaft.

Also, 545 is a boom beast...with stock shaft it beat out my m2 with kk dual tini shaft.

You like the 545 better than the 745? Ive only ever hot the 765 and i prefer the look of a smaller head but if the 545 has a deep face and doesn't look like a watermelon on a stick at address i would give it a shot.

That's the only bad thing IMO, it does look like a watermelon on a stick..LOL Its got a pretty big footprint, but it is way more forgiving than the 745 and launches a good bit higher, at least it did for me. It does require a good shaft as well, the stock KK is ok, but it will really shine with a shaft that fits you. I like the looks of the 745, it's beautiful but the 545 would be my choice for everyday golf.

They still have a 545 demo at the PGA SS here so i hit it today. It launches high for sure but with that KK shaft I couldnt keep it from going right. I feel like it plays soft to flex? Maybe an Xstiff would yeild better results? I grabbed my F7+ and hit it and was straight and a bit left. Swung the 565 and it was right. Switched to the 765 and hit bombs. I wish i could test a 745 with a different shaft than the KK.

One of the other downfalls with the Srixon drivers.... hard to test different shafts it seems. I like the smaller headed drivers myself so I am not surprised you like the 765, I haven't tried it yet honestly.. did hit the 565 and it was all over the place and spinny for me. I think the weight in the 765 is a little further back than the 745 which may help it a little bit more in the forgiveness area... I may try and hit one tomorrow if they have a demo.

I do find the stock KK to play a little softer than normal FWIW.

I was asking if you liked it more. You said it's a beast and beat out your M2 so it sounded to me like you may prefer it. I was asking a question.
