Anyone out there pick up the new Puma "LEERE" shoes?

bringing this back from the dead (rather than starting a new post)

I'm also looking at grabbing them, i think they look amazing. anyone rocking them?

nah,i have the concord gtx,i love the Leere,has anyone seen the new line of Puma golf shoes,everything is the smart quill

I still haven't seen the Leeres live yet. I have two pairs of the Concordes now, and they are great shoes. Love 'em!

Can any of you puma owners attest to the fact that they run about a whole size larger than say a Nike shoe?

i think they run 1/2 size smaller then a normal shoe.

I need more golf shoes like I need a hole in the head... But I'm interested to see who has gotten a pair of the Puma Leere shoes (with removable "kiltie"), and what you think of them. They look pretty wild. I've got a pair of the JL Classics as well as some GTX's, so there's not much out there that I think is too crazy for the course. What are your impressions? Do they look better or worse in person? Are they comfortable? Stiff? Soft? Is the fit narrow like most Puma golf shoes? (I hope so! Narrow foot here!)

Greetings my fellow Puma fanatics! We're a small band, we have to stick together!

I was able to try on the Leere's and IMO they are pretty nice shoes. I have a 2 pairs of the JL classics and the GTX in regular and the suedes....all have the Champion spikes. With that said, I can't really say I like the feel of the quills that the new Pumas feature, but I was just wearing them in a golf shop floor rather than in a fairway. If you are a fan of Puma and love the look of the modern-retro style, they would make a pretty sweet addition. Oh, I forgot, they feel about the same as a GTX in size, fit and flex.

What's your definition of a normal shoe? I've got five pairs of Adidas shoes all in 10.5 and two pairs of the Concorde GTX in the same size and I haven't noticed a difference at all. I've worn Footjoys and Nikes in the same size as well and it hasn't been a problem.

I agree...11 in Classics Dry Premiere, 11.5D in DryJoys, but 12M in Adidas 360 is a bit tight on my foot.

I just picked up 2 pairs of Puma PG Breeze (lime green and black) from the Puma outlet store for $65.00 (all shoes 50% off). I normally wear a size 10 in Nike and I needed a 10.5 in the Puma.

Puma may very well be my shoe of choice for 2009.
