Both great balls , felt the A holds it’s line much better in the wind.

    Green rollout is similar.

Tried both in a recent golf ball fitting. Very similar performance on the monitor. Both spun really well with the wedge. Project A seemed a touch softer off the driver. IMO both are really solid golf balls for a sub 100 mph ss.

Thanks, a little softer feeling is exactly what I was looking for.

Been playing the Project A a little more than 2 seasons. Last year I was excited about the QST and played a few rounds with it. Went back to Project A because it felt better around the greens.

Qst felt very hard. P.a 16 was my gamer for 1 year. Can't wait to try 18.

Compared the last version of the PA to the QST last season, and preferred the QST. Great feel and performance, however I wouldn’t hesitate to play the PA.

Will try both when our local shops decide to get them in. Still trying to sell previous versions at full price....mad.

I played the A for 3 years. Never thought Id switch. I did. To the QSTAR Tour. Much more distance off every club. And no noticable spin diffenrence IMO.

That's what each company advertises, but it may not be an apples to apples comparison as there is no industry standard for measuring compression (same as shaft flex).

that 5 lbs of compression is not really that much of a factor is it?

I played the QST through the last part of the year. Really liked it. Felt great and flew straight! I really liked the old RBZ urethane more then the '15-16 Project A. Planning on testing QST vs new project A vs MTB black in the spring.

My issue is I like a softer feeling ball but struggle with spin at times. So these balls seem to work well for my game/wallet.

Just played the 2018 version of both balls over 27 holes the past few weekends. In my option the Qst outperformed the project a in very area. Both balls had more roll out on pitches and chips than my usual Pro v1. The project a was just very inconsistent around the greens. Had much more control with the Qst around the greens. On a few well struck mid iron approach shots, the projects didn’t even hold the green, I was a little surprised by that. The Qst didn’t suck back on any shots into the green but usually stopped with in a few feet of its ball mark. Off the tee, the Qst is definitely longer and had a higher ball flight Than the project a. The Qst is also a great wind ball. The ball just wants to go straight. A couple par 3’s were playing in to the wind, both times I was in between clubsand I I went with the shorter club the see how the Qst would handle the wind, both times, pin high and held the green, no problem. I’ve been searching for a replacement for my Pro v1, as I’ve gotten older and my swing speed came down a bit. I feel I have found my new gamer in the 2018 Qst.
