Maple Meadows Announces A Spring Tournament

Play in the 2nd Annual One-Club Shootout Tournament

at Maple Meadows on Saturday, April 14th, 2018

 

WHAT: Each golfer plays individual stroke play with 1 Club only (The club can be any club of the player’s choice including putter, but they must use the club for every shot on each hole). 2 Foursomes per starting hole with each player switching and recording the score of another player in their foursome. The field will be limited to the first 72 players…so get your entry forms in early.

 

WHERE: MAPLE MEADOWS GOLF COURSE

WHEN: Saturday, April 14^th

Check-in at 2pm

9-Hole shotgun start at 3pm

 

COST: $39 per person. Entry forms with full amount must be turned in at Maple Meadows Golf Club no later than 4/12/18. Entry fees can be paid at the Maple Pro Shop or visit the “Online Store” at DuPageGolf.com to pay online. In the event of tournament cancellation, all refunds will be issued in the form of an 18-Hole Weekday golf certificate.

 

PRIZES: Merchandise certificates will be given out based on the total number of players.

 

INCLUDES: 9 holes of golf & cart, contest prizes, “Putt & Run” lunch ticket, and the experience of hitting a bunker shot with your 4-iron…or using a hybrid from 60 yards out!!!

The only thing I saw was Cantigny has a 2 man this weekend I believe. But haven't seen much else. I guess its that time where courses probably lose money on hosting in-house tournaments, instead of open play.

Just saw that Foxford has two scrambles in June

Harborside has a 2 man on June 24th...Unfortunately, I have a tee time at Pebble Beach that day. ?

I'd play Harborside. The smell of the landfill is so much richer than the ocean spray in Carmel. Plus you can see dead carp floating instead of the seals frolicking on the beach.
