I didn't do my research but are those steelfiber lighter than your wedges? I heard scratch wedges wear fast, true? I have a feeling you are starting a new trend with how witb is done

    Thanks for the comment.

Yes the Steelfibers I'm playing are the i95s which are 95grams +/- a couple grams due to length I believe, and the KBS Hi-Rev are 125g in stiff flex

Scratch wedges are forged and it's said that forge wear faster than a cast head. I used them for 3 seasons with quite a bit of short game practice, and got good results still last season. Interested to see how they spin at the beginning of this season. If I get can get this and 1 one more I'll extremely happy with how they lasted, and then get them replaced with hopefully an identical set through National Custom Works (the old Scratch crew's new company).

Yeah we set up fishing line, and he then photoshopped the fishing line out of the pics after.

Amazing pictures and really cool setup! Surprised not see a Scotty sneak in there with all the other Titleist stuff. The 718's are best AP2's by far any reason you went with Steelfibers?

Well I live in a small town and we zero places to demo/fitting carts. I've tried PX, PX Flighted, PX HL, KBS, Nippon 10150, TT Tour Concept S3, DG S300, DG SL S300, and probably a few more over the years (it got rather expensive) and had zero interest in graphite style iron shafts. I picked a set of AP2 710's with i95 stiff in them through a trade on here and planned to pull them immediately and put some PX 5.5's in them, but decided to give them a try for sh!t$ and giggles and they just did everything I'd been trying to find in a shaft compared to all the different shafts I had been trying. Then had them in my 716 Ap2's and now these 718's. I just feel comfortable with them. If I could do a "real fitting" instead of a trial and error like had been doing there's probably something that'd fit be better out there but for now but still I do really like them.

No never did. I traded it for a new Bushnell Pro X2 last spring. Unfortunately I may have ditched it just a bit to early. It was still cold and wet here and my M1 was longer, and I'm not a long ball hitter to begin with (but find fairways) so giving up any distance hurts "my game" more than most I suppose.
