Just ordered a pair of Gold Toe black wingtips (- the gold toe) today. They will be used along with the other 6 pairs or so that I have. I tend to be old school when it comes to shoes.

    Good thread!

Fast forward to this spring (winter still here in Calgary) and I've bought a pair of Nike Roshe's and have a pair of Skechers Elite V.3 Approach on the way from Amazon...so I guess that's 7 pairs in total...yikes...I didn't realize that until I wrote it all down haha. But really it's only 5 if I drop to 2 that don't fit.

Little update: The skechers are on their way back to amazon, half size too big and had a weird fit where the leather at the bottom of the laces would "bubble" up when you tighten the laces, looked really weird. Too bad because they seem like they would be very comfortable.

Got the Ecco Biom's today and wow, these are great shoes. Amazingly comfortable out of the box and look great. I read others saying they fit a bit small compared to the Biom Hybrid 2 but I didn't find that to be true. I wear a 10 in Nike and the 43 fits perfectly. I would recommend measuring your foot the way they say on the Ecco website and order accordingly.

When I read about the great deals others are getting, I have a hard time paying full retail for shoes I don’t strictly need. And when you wear a 12B and only narrow FootJoys fit well, deals are few and far between.

I used to work in an office about 6-7 years ago, but work from home full time now. I no longer have the need for dress shoes, slacks, dress shirts, ties, so I buy golf apparel and shoes

I have spent years looking for just the right fit in shoes. I have small, but wide feet so have a tendency to return a lot of shoes, but will also buy multiple pair if I can find that "right fit". We are dew sweepers, so full waterproof is a must.

I have 6 new pair of Nike FI Premiere - 3 white - 3 black, 2 pair of Grey Nike Vaporstorm, and just recently purchased 3 pair of the new Ecco Biom 3 GTX (awesome shoe), 2 pair of Nike LCV2, but those are listed for sale (too narrow, even in wide) I am almost worse with golf pants, need a tailor.

No sooner do I type this than I find a sick pair of custom 12 narrow FJ icon boas on ebay, NIB. Maybe I can't stop, either.

After I retired I worked in a pro shop for awhile. Drove the pro nuts special ordering me shoes all the time at cost. Now I have to search for sales (and pay for greens fees image/angry2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':angry22:' /> ).

Know the feeling. I typically buy shoes at the end of the season and get them for a discounted price for the next year. Typically I have 8-9 pairs in the house and am constantly looking for the next great pair. Nothing like a new pair of golf shoes especially when you walk like I do.

I don't know what's gotten into me lately. I've always bought couple-three pairs each year but I've already purchased four pairs for this season that's hasn't even started yet!!! Emails coming in left and right and I just can't stop opening the browser and looking at them. I'm blaming it on the bad winter. What's your typical season buy?

I am a shoe nut too. I have found that the puma stuff fits me better than any shoe I have ever owned. I have had problems with my feet my whole life. Finding good shoes has been so hard. So when I found the ignite, I went nuts. So now I have 11 pair of them.

Bought 4 pairs this year, 2 Nike and 2 FJ, up to 11 pairs a wonderful sickness. Gotta match shoes to the outfit.

I’m a bit obsessive with my purchasing too, so my rule on shoes is never buy the same make and model if you have a pair already.

I’ve got rid of two pairs so just have the six now.

2 for winter - Vaporstorm and Footjoy boot

    2 for Autumn/Spring - LCV2 and Adidas Boost 2 grey

I have 3 pairs of FJ but I am starting to understand the obsession. I just saw that you can customize some of the FJ which I will be taking full advantage of.

I'm down to 4 pair. Two are new Biom Hybrid 3's that I will have at home and two are the orginal Niom Hybrid that I leave at my sons house(OK it's really my wife's and I future retirement home) in Nova Scotia. I think I topped out early last year at 7 pair.

This is pretty funny. I have two pairs of Nike's. An NG Dunk that has lost most of its waterproofing so I use them for cart only. But I love them and can't retire them just yet. I have about 2-3 pairs I throw in the cart on a daily basis and don't pool the trigger but this thread is gonna make me do it.

A golfing partner helped me pick up a new

dryer last weekend. While we were delivering my wife asks him how many pair of shoes he has? His answer? Three.

She looks around the garage and finds 11 pairs of mine.

Next round I'm out with him I notice he is wearing rain boots on a dry day, the guy obviously needs more shoes!
