Element 21 Golf Company and Dr. Howard Butler to Host Press Conference at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show

Wednesday January 18, 8:00 am ET

TORONTO--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 18, 2006 -- Element 21 Golf Company (E21) (OTC BB:EGLF.OB - News) reported today that the Company, in association with The Media Group, will host an invitation-only press conference at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show on Thursday January 26, at the Orange County Convention Center. At the press conference, Dr. Howard Butler will present the technology behind the Scandium "Shock" driver that has quickly generated media and industry attention.

What Defines the Ultimate Driver Head of the Future" details creation of the first Scandium driver using the Enhanced Performance Integration Code developed by the Golf Science Consultants. The presentation illustrates effects of face bulge and roll optimization on ball flight, optimization of toe up/down oscillation at impact through maximizing moments of inertia to proposed USGA limits, attenuation of high frequency vibration and dispersion patterns of E21 Shock Driver.

"We are extremely pleased with the results of the 'Shock' driver," commented Dr. Butler. "It has exceeded our expectations in all areas of performance including distance, accuracy and feel."

Dr. Butler summarizes the "Shock" driver as follows:

1. Lower head vibration on off-center hits because of principle axis

orientation;

2. Mass moment of inertia on the cusp of USGA proposed limits, providing

the largest sweet spot

possible;

3. A COR rating at the USGA limit providing an extremely hot face without

being non-conforming;

4. Optimized face curvatures to minimize shot dispersion resulting in

incredible accuracy off the tee.

Element 21 Golf Company holds the exclusive rights to proprietary Scandium Metal Alloy, used in manufacture of the new driver, as well as a sophisticated multi technology production path. Scandium Alloy is 55% lighter and offers 25% strength-to-weight advantage over Titanium alloys, which are the current standards of the Golf Equipment Industry. The advanced dynamics of Scandium and the material economics offer a performance-enhanced alternative to manufacturing driver clubs with Titanium, which is by far the largest segment of the annual 4 billion dollar golf equipment marketplace

"Driver clubs can generate more brand awareness than any other club in the golfer's bag, and may promote sales of E21 new scandium-shafted line of irons, hybrids, wedges and putters. New Scandium 'Shock' Driver represents a fruition of dreams and combined technical effort of many people with roots in Toronto, Canada, and Maryland, USA, dating back to 1995. We are thankful to all of our supporters on this long and winding road..." commented Dr. Nataliya Hearn, President and CEO of Element 21 Golf Company.

About Element 21 Golf Company:

Prior to the end of 2005 PGA Tour an unprecedented number of high-profile golf professionals have switched or began testing E21's Scandium Eagle One shafts. Element 21 is utilizing its experience working with advanced Scandium metal alloys to introduce this unique space-age material to the golf industry. Scandium alloys were originally developed for application in aerospace application including MiG series fighter jets, leading-edge missile applications, and the International Space Station.

Scandium metal alloy clubs represent the first new innovation in golf clubs in decades. Scandium provides significant increases in distance as well as accuracy and consistency. Due to Scandium's advanced composition, coupled with numerous design innovations, these clubs offer improved feel while reducing shock transfer to the player's hands.
