Molinari win at 60/1

Surprised DJ is quite such a big favourite at 8s when the next player is Rory at 14s

I also went with something a bit different this year

Rory, Sergio, Cantlay and Reed all to MC goes for 212/1

Other than that I will put on some multiples on winners of three balls

Ping i20 9.5* Project X Black 6.0
Taylormade R15 15* Fujikura FUEL 70 S
Adams Pro Dhy 18* Aldila Tour Blue 80S
John Letters Tour Black Master Model 4-PW S300
John Letters Tour Black 52*,56*,60* DG Spinner
Odyssey Metal X Milled #1, 34.5"

I like the Rickie odds to win. Bubba to win at 40/1 is a great get if he can pull it off but have lost enough bets on Bubba to win a US Open that I do not see it happen for his game. How much you wager and how much could you win?

I have 50 on Bubba futures so that pays 2k.

Think his high ball flight is going to help him a lot this week and in addition to that his driving accuracy is a bit better this year. Plus length won't hurt especially if the wind factors which it looks like it will at times on Thurs / Fri.

EDIT: this is to goosekee2 - apparently still working out how to quote on here

Nope. I have reasons for all of the bets aside from Kodaira - his game does not really set up well for what I was looking for this week but just have a feeling on that T10 and the odds are right.

He's a steady player so even if he say misses the cut by 1 I still see him beating the amateur Thornberry who is coming off another nice showing at the St jude and playing in his first major at an extermely difficult track. I don't see him making the cut

Worried about Molinari having to putt on these hybrid greens but he definitely has some confidence going in. As you can see I am fading Cantlay and the others can be quite errant off the tee so some nice value there. That's why UK books are the best - cant do parlays like that with the local bookies and most on-line books in the US

You have Kodaira top 10 but yet question if he even makes the cut. You don't sound too confident. None of your bets look good to me at all but good luck.

Appreciate the hate but not bringing any reasoning to the table as to why you do not like the plays or what you like better is weak.

I was just saying I have a feeling on Kodaira so 50/1250 is a risk I am willing to take, but am confident he beasts Thornberry easily and have all the tournament matchups at bet to win $100 so cover it 2x.

Kodaira 5/10 cuts made in the US, one win, second best T20, how could you possibly "have a feeling" he'll place top 10 in the US Open?

Look at his stats. Let's hear your reasoning for these ridiculous bets. https://www.pgatour....hi-kodaira.html

Growing up playing cards with the regular old men at my club I used to question some of their bets/raises when one day the organizer gave me a stern look and said “son when you walk under that door, you can bet however you’d like. It’s their money” I’ve never questioned another mans bet since

What book do you use? Those odds are way off compared to sportsbook.com. Kodaira top 10 is 50-1. Leishman win 65-1. Molinari win 80-1.

These are 5dimes. And fair enough you don't like the Kodaira bet.

Feel free to try and pick apart any others - have solid reasoning on all

Im using Bet365 because i have some free bets built up with them and they tend to have more markets. I use https://www.oddschecker.com/golf/us-open/2018-us-open/winner to look if i am getting decent prices

I too use bet365, betting companies make millions a year due to us humans making dumb dumb dumb decisions and bets, for instance Woods fav at the Masters, people putting $10k on Tiger was happening just cos of hype and fantasy.

My preffered options are smaller pool like at US open top South African Frettelli 8-1 out of 6 players or head to head betting over 18 or 72 holes.

Trying to pick the winner is of course fun but bloody hard and statistically you will lose most of the time so just bet smart.

Levy 9-1 top 20

Piercy 10-1 top 20

Lowery top Irish 4.50 great price Rory won't handle these greens

Casey to miss the cut 2.50 with a dodgy back and deep rough not a good combo

Here in South Africa, my total exposure is R3 000 (approx $225) that Tiger finishes outside Top 10.

Easy money here.

Had the same bet for Masters & won that easily.

I'll be doing the same for all majors.

is that even money or do you get odds?

I don't like the Watson pick. He barely functions at US Opens. I guess at 40/1 that isn't terrible.

I feel like his high ball flight and the way he can shape the ball will be key this week but I agree typically does not factor in a US open layout. 40/1 is worth a shot
