Please tell me the 2i will come in lefty?? Very hard to find 18* irons in lefty these days. Only a few options.... all very pricey.

Callaways X-forged comes in 18!! And it's forged.... no brainer!!

Yep, just really hard to find used ones. I never (almost never...) buy a club blind. Impossible to demo in store, so... It's buy blind and hope I love it or try to find used.

Oddly enough, I just saw Leishman play one on Sat and I hated the way it sounded. Very... hollow and high pitched to my ears. Didn't sound soft/muted like U65. Issue is.. my 20* flies to the moon, at least with the shaft in their now. Don't wanna bother pulling graphite, I'd rather just go down to 18* and probably toss some steel in there.

These will fit many golfers and be a hit. +++ they are forged this year!

BUT...many of us don't like the super wide sole. Always preferred and hit better with a standard sole. I love the help in the modern day long iron, but the soles gotta be tight!

As a Srixon fanboy I had hoped these would slim down but they look essentially the same as the u65 with a slight cog/weight adjustment to the middle (more in line with the u45). I like many wanted a slimmer offering with the V-sole slightly incorporated (I know it's not as much help in the long irons).

That would be the 565... But these look really good. And for us that play a combo.. It makes the 785 much more appealing

585 if similar to 565 offset does not check that box. Not really the profile I was thinking either. X UT is the perfect size through 2-6

i need to hear an explantion as to why Srixon didn't incorporate v sole into the utility . You just gave people something negative to say about how wide the sole is and its true it is wide. That wide sole compromises playability from less than prefect lies or even out of rough. Sheesh Srixon I've loved you guys for years and you go and pull this mess. That Driver come on seriously the top looks good but that sole doesn't match the colors are drab and it just looks old on the bottom i see some old nike tech or something going on. Cleveland Srixon seriously come on the 45 series of clubs really had us going and riding the wave but this last couple of rehashes of the same ole soup just reheated with a little cheese on top is going to lose you all the momentum you gained with the 45 series. The 745's were just awesome they are classic even if they are similar to my favorite iron the j40 cb . Alright Srixon thats enough wrap it up i've seen enough.

I bought the 18* U65 on Saturday and felt a twang of panic and regret when I saw the article on the GolfWRX front page with the new U85 utility irons. However having looked at these photos the U85 really does look like an evolution of the U65 rather than a whole new model and as such I am still perfectly happy with my purchase.

For the record, these utility irons do look very nice (albeit still chunky).

I thought the same thing as I just got the u65 a few weeks ago after waiting 2 months to finally get one! Like you said, it looks like some minor changes so no need to panic, still loving the u65.

I've had mine (18, 20, 23) for 6 months and not getting rid of them anytime soon. So easy to hit and they don't spin like all the hybrids I've tried over the years. The 18 degree is just a bomber off the tee even with the stock shaft.
