Srixon Z585, 785, U85 - photos added of the Z585 & Z785 irons

They look a little better than what was originally seen on USGA Conforming List....

The 785s look like they overlayed the 745 and 765 on top of each other. Dont hate it, dont love it.

Good Looking for sure!!!! Not too busy. 5 series looks like an all around GI iron with some visible tech and the 7 is pretty clean for a players GI. If they are clean from the top line then I would say mission accomplished on looks.

Would love to see some of the top line shots of those.

I'm with ya brother. They missed the boat last gen. Of course I'm happy that they at least offered some lefty options in the 65's cause the 45's were completely void of any left hand options.

What I never understood was they actually offered a 3 iron in left hand in the 65's, but no AW. Seems to me they would sell more AW's than 3 irons.

Also hope they offer all the Utility irons in left hand.

Any idea if the blade length is back to the 45 series size? 65's were way too long and rounded IMO

The Z585's look like the Cleveland 588 TT irons from a few years ago.

Co-signed! My blended srixon set continues to impress. Five series into seven series. For my money, the nine series PW is key. I’d consider including the 9 in the nine series as well.

Those 785s have very little offset. Look like a tour version, maybe made for Hideki?

I think those 585s look great. Maybe I'll go after him next spring, get some swings on to see if they're worth getting fitted into

I'm liking them so far, look like super low offset too which is always nice to see (to me).

Also, does anyone else notice the wear marks seem pretty high on the face? Not sure who's irons these are, but those wear marks don't even look like they start until the 3rd groove?

WOW I think these look great. I love the look of blade length and minimal offset. If they are forgiving as my AP2's, then I may switch.

Edit: For all the hours I'm on here a day Srixon is company I never really read up on. Do they add tungsten to their 7 series iron line? Also looking at their site I see Steelfiber is not an option....

Steelfiber is an option, i70 through i110. When you go to the Srixon site go to the bottom and click on Custom Catalog. 765's have tungsten but I don't see any in the 785 pictures, and I think many would say have a bit more forgiveness than AP2.

Glad they fixed the shape of the short irons in the 785. I loved the 745, but hated the appearance of the 765

Srixon makes it very easy to make combo sets. Much improved over the 65's.

I've got my first set of Srixon's arriving shortly... I'm very excited to game them... everything they put out looks so nice

Very impressed with these - the 785s look classically beautiful. Absolutely want to try these (if they provide lefty demos). Most of all, I'm impressed with the appearance of the 585 long irons and their lack of offset for the GI-type of iron that they are - would absolutely be in my realm of thought for a 3-P combo set.

These look WAY better than the original photos that were circulating. They're a great looking evolution. I was a little worried at the first look of the 585 but these are beautiful. Another great job by Srixon..

785's definitely look better than the 765's. I wonder if the lofts will be the same as the 765's.
