Back when this was the Kemper Open there were quite a few players who had some not so good things to say about the course. New times though. I'll probably be there on Friday. Lookin like sun all 4 days. It's been raining for a week so the course probably needs it.

Reviews last year from the players were excellent, compared to the old course.

The winning score wont be higher than -9 if the weather is warm/dry

    6 miles?!?!? I couldn't do that

It's a show. Traffic is already bad here. Add in the tournament, it's going to be a worse nightmare. If he makes the cut, the weekend is going to be ugly bad. Not even normal bad.

Big Cat needs another laser eye surgery more than he needs a new putter. He still hits solid putts but reads the green wrong half the time. Joey has to help him out a lot of the time too now.

Tiger's green reading reminds me of a period in time where he was almost OCD about wind. I haven't noticed it as much since this last comeback thankfully.

The human mind can be such an obstacle.

I think Tiger has a really good chance here, and a pretty good chance at Carnoustie

Wait no more, world -- the results are in !!

According to the OWGR (Official World Golf Ranking) web-site, the 2018 Quicken Loans National has been given a Field-Strength (SoF) rating of 167 !!! Only the "opposite" Corales Puntacana Resort tournament (at 78) rates lower among all PGA Tour events played so far in 2018.

To see for yourself, go to the OWGR web-site's EVENTS PAGE, adjust the TOUR filter for the PGA Tour, then toggle "SoF" until the ranking order is shown with the highest rated event at the top of the page, and the lowest rated event at the bottom.

A thought -- I would not be surprised if next week's Greenbrier had a stronger field!

Last year's Quicken Loans National had a SOF of 229.

    Last year's Greenbrier was 174.

The lowest SOF for a 2017-18 season PGA Tour event is the Safeway at 115.

For high quality fields, the place to be is Europe for the next four weeks.

Your avatar reminds me that Scott Hall needs to show up to do a survey this week.

    "Hey yo!"

"Who... is here... to see.... the PGA Tour?"

    respectful golf claps

"And who..... is here..... to see... the .........Big........ Cat?"

    huge roars

"Sounds like one more....for the bad guy!"

    A+ for locational accuracy.

I would have also accepted a picture of the American Legion Parking Lot.

I am going Friday and Saturday. Was only going to go Saturday but want to ensure I can see Tiger. Bummed to hear all the negative talk in here, but I am sure I will enjoy it. I have been to this tournament before, but not at Avenel.

    Hoping for the best

Wanted to make a new thread about some news but I’ll post it in here instead

I’m caddying for Alex Cejka this week! Super pumped, went out for a practice round today with him. Should be an interesting couple of days

Also, potentially going to caddie for an AM tomorrow in either Tiger or Rickies group!

I’ll try to take some pics and give you guys the low down on what goes on during my week
