    Whoa....glad I am not there.

I hardly ever play in such weather...or rain. We have about 350 good days a year...why bother with the other 15!

Like a romp in the sack, I'll take it when I can get it as well.

The season's short enough in the 'Great White North'.

I’ve always wondered how such a terrible weather could’ve produced so many outstanding golfers. I see now. Sheer Viking blood

Lightening? If there is it’s not brave, just foolish. Where I am from weatlime that can be very dangerous

I’d keep playing. I don’t think the heavy stuff is coming down for quite a while.

You are way too far South if the sun goes down this time of the year!

I was struck by lightening 30 years ago. Still makes me jump and flinch. I ran off the golf course yesterday when the thunder got close. Be safe out there.

Lightning should make everybody run for safety, it's so unpredictable and deadly.

That is more frightening than Mordor.

I was -7 after 13 holes once, absolutely feeling it, the best I’ve probably ever played. Then I heard thunder on 14, and ran straight for the clubhouse and never finished the round. I’m wimpy for a Canadian, but my Italian born and raised mom told me a few too many stories from her childhood about lightning bolting through her house that was essentially a hutt.

My playing partners thought I was an idiot. One of the guys held his club straight in the air and dared god to strike him down (he actually said that out loud). I can’t be sure, but I’d guess that guy is dead now.

We had lightning above our heads in a tourney a couple years ago. A playing partner commented that lightning goes from the ground to the sky (it does) and that we don't have anything to worry about since we don't have metal spikes. I thought, IDIOT, and said I am driving to the halfway house with or without you. He said I made the right call after we got to the house.

Should be nice and warm to play in Sweden now. My family is reporting record high temperatures in Western Finland. I presume you are getting the same heat wave.
