Hole in One, Finally!

Got it! Wow, I am so stoked. Anyway, the details. 15th hole at Eberhart golf course. Playing the blues this evening, the flag measured 141 yds according to my laser. I pulled out my 9i and, well... the ball went in the cup. The ball hit, rolled a few feet and went in. I thought it was short to be honest, but my buddy said he saw it disappear. I told him it isn't nice to mess around about that.

Club: Callaway Steelhead XR 9i

Ball: Callaway Chromesoft Truvis

Thanks everyone. It was a great feeling finally getting one of those. Little more back story, it was actually the 41st hole I played yesterday. Played 18 earlier in the day for the last day of my city metro, then played 9 with my wife at a different course. Was planning on going home and resting, but my buddy was out of town last week and wanted to play last night, so what the heck. The clubhouse was closed by the time we were finished, so I owe him a beer. And I will send out to Callaway for the plaque.

Excellent Shot ... although it was at least (2) clubs too many for a golfwrx post. 141yds is usually a 3/4 gap wedge here. image/taunt.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':taunt:' />

Nice work! My ball of choice as well!

To the people that have made a hole in one, do you retire that ball and save it or game it the rest of the round?

It came right out of play and is at my home awaiting its case. A good thing too, cause I went ob on the next tee.
