Updated Mizuno T7 reviews? Anyone using them?

Anyone care to comment on the T7 wedges? How is the spin? Feel? Grind on the higher lofted ones?

Ive searched all the old threads but im looking for updated reviews from people that have used them a while. Thanks!

I just took delivery on my 7th and 8th T7's yesterday, about to be discontinued I believe.

I have a 50-54-58 set, a 48-53-58 set, and just picked up a 45/49 (PW/GW) set up to possibly go with some new JPX irons.

I absolutely love everything about them. They may not be the softest around, but my first forged wedges, so feel better than anything I have played, spin is as good as anything I have played.

The head shape on the PW T7 (think the 45-48), just looks so good at address. The 58/12 has been great for bunker play.

If you want some, get em quick.

Love my gap and SW. I’m not sure if it’s verstile enough in the LW yet. Like if I’m opening up the face in the sand or around the green in the rough feel like I might want a little bigger head and more sole width. Was thinking about getting a S5 or 18 in the 60 or maybe a TM hi toe. The blue is so sexy though and feel is good.

I moved away from SM6 to T7. 46, 52, 56, 58, 62 (used for different combos but usually 46, 52, 56, 62). I love them. Feel is fine. Durablity is great. I then on a wrxwhim bought 52, 56, 60 of S18. Used them once and loved the look but just not right. Went back to my gaggle of T7. Played great golf. Well, had to get the SM7 right? Yep. Jet black 50, 54, 60. Even shafted them with Masters Edition Modus 125. They are wicked looking and fine but recently went back to T7s and loving them more and more with each use. Feel is great. Very versatile around greens and fairway. Only wedge Ive ever had that thought about getting replacements. Highly recommend. Oh and they're blue and awesome looking

I had them for about a year and loved them. Loved the look of the satin and they felt great. Great spin on short shots for me.

The only thing that turned me off to them was the shape. They were a little small at address. After a year and comparing them to the SM7's, I went with the SM7's but would easily go back and play them again

Im using the 50, 54 & 58 blue Ion. I like them. This is after Cleveland RTX 2.0 and SM6 before that.

I recently switched the 58.08 to a 58.12 and chipping is much better. I had a tendency to dig in too much.

Ive been gaming them since they came out. I find performance of most wedges out there to be comparable to each other but the mizuno compact tear drop head really sets it apart for me. I bought a back up set that im now selling on the bst due to another kid coming. That being said my gamer set is holding up just fine.

I have played my blue 58 and 54 for over a year. The grooves are still sharp and I have really enjoyed playing them. Only wedges I have considered buying a backup set for. I dont like getting adjusted to new wedges. I can custom order from Manhattan Golf for $99. Hard not pull trigger.

Anyone have an idea when the next cycle of Mizuno wedges will be released?

Hoping my T5s can last me until then.

should be along with the new JPX line this fall (September), T7's are 2 years old. We should get a glimpse next week.

For JP the T7s go further than his previous Mizuno wedges, but this has been a good thing given his new mp15s are about a club longer than his last iron set.

Crisp feeling, they seem to be holding up well tho the 58* has some of its blue lost on the sole because JP once hit it into the sand. He doesn’t understand how such a thing could happen, mishitting a shot into the bunker? What’s up with that? Seriously, this sort of thing can’t happen again.
