I'm in line with quite a few of these confessions. Some of the guys that frequent the "Rules of Golf" sub-forum must have bloody tongues right now from biting them too hard.

I dont pull pin when by myself.

I pee all over the course just not on fairway, green or tee box.

I have taken a **** on the course when no pot o potty is near and didnt want to **** in my under amour undies that stop swam butt.

I dont rake a crappy bunker.

Sometimes I don't replace my divot upon a poor iron shot. I always replace them when I stick in close, though.

I think foot wedges should be no more than 20 club lengths away from any trouble.

Sometimes I’ll just commit to the double cross. I’ll aim right, play a cut and I hope it goes down the middle.

When guys talk about golf ball spin rates in the 19th hole when they've missed every green.....my eyes roll back into my head and I think I'm having a panic attack.

On occasion I've been know to let out a "f*** me" after a particularly bad shot. I admit this is not gentlemanly.

If I have a bad lie that is going to injure me or damage my club the foot wedge comes to the rescue.

If in a cart sometimes I drive past the "no carts past this point" sign.

If I get to the green and my ball is particularly muddy or dirty I might just finish the hole with a different golf ball :/

Okay, I can tolerate peeing in the woods during a round, but doing #2 might be beyond borderline.

When agreed upon before the round. Fairway winter rules -- in fairway find grass lie. Never again hit from tree root -- free drop. Always play ready golf -- always out of turn.

I have never tipped a bag guy.

I still use my ping eye 2 wedges.

I carried 15 clubs for about 4 rounds while deciding between a hybrid and 5 wood.

Thank you! I was agonizing over doing this. Not now!

I open a can of beer right as a guy who annoyed me is about to swing.

On humid days I ask my buds if they're having trouble gripping the club

    This post made me laugh.

If someone in my group hits a bad shot I don't say anything. But, if one of the guys is having one of those days where nothing goes well I'm sure to tell them how great they are playing image/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I pick my nose and flick. But will still shake hands with same hand.

I carry wipes for a possible inconvenient moment.

I will not play traps that aren’t fit to play.

I will mulligan early in the year.

I play clean and place or at least improved lies on some public courses.

Sometimes I play a two piece distance ball.

I play an x flex driver even though I’m really a stiff

Sometimes I blade a wedge and tell myself it was flighted to keep sane

  • When I was a caddie at a club, I would kick the ball to more playable lies for high handicappers when they could not see me.

This had me laughing out loud!

If I'm on the green in regulation on a par 4 and end up bogeying it anyway, then birdie the hole when I re-putt, I split the difference and give myself a par. Because the birdie putt was how I 'intended to roll it'. At the end of the round, I maintain this facade, give myself a minute to bask in the glory of a great round, then trash the scorecard.
