Be careful. Every 3rd set of i210s contains a flesh eating virus.

Tried to order a custom set of i200 the day that they stopped taking them. Glad it didn’t work out because the i210 feel and look much better and are easy to hit.

Took mine out for the first time on course yesterday. The distance control and dispersion are awesome. They dont quite feel soft but they feel solid. Not sure how to explain it. I did keep my CF16s but I'd imagine the i210 will stay in the bag, once i get use to my yardages. They are very consistent sticks

I did change my signature so I guess thats a sign lol

I looked at them yesterday in the store... The cavity is beautiful but the irons themselves have a little more offset than i'd like to see... I REALLY like the look of the i500 though.... those were nice....

If you're ok with some offset, the i210 look nice and friendly.

I was going to start a thread about i210's asking who ordered and what are you getting. I've hit them several times over the past two weeks. Indoors on the montior (using a Snell MTB) and also outdoors (albeit with crappy range balls) I was really struggling to decide which shaft to go with. Hit just about everything. Ping static fitting off the website puts me in PX LZ and so does true temper's site although Ping says 6.0 and true temper's site 6.5 Hitting outdoors with the 6.0 I was carrying the demo 7 iron between 185 and up to around 192-193 when going after it. I did hit the DG 120 and really liked it as well, but they only had it in stiff flex so it felt a little light and apeared to Apex a little differently. It just appeared as if it wouldn't hold up as well into the wind for me. The surprise shaft was the AWT 2.0 in X flex. I've hit the AWT 2.0 in stiff before and I defintely feel ike the X flex version is just a different animal. Very stable with a piercing trajectory. In the end, I felt like the PX LZ 6.0 was my best fit so that's what I ordered.

Ordered 4-GW, black dot, Standard length and lofts. (Static fitting puts me in Blue dot. I prefer a little flatter lie angle) Doesn't seem like much, but I defnitiey over cook the ball more with blue dot.

Aso ordered some new Glide 2.0 ( satin) wedges. 54SS and 60SS with PX LZ 6.0's

Ordered mine with the PX LZ 6.5. I went green dot because that's what I've always fit into and what was recommended to me by at least three different people. We'll see. I may end up sending them back to get bent to blue.

Interesting that the i210's are available in "Retro Spec" lofts based on a 47 degree PW. 'Nice. I've played ~30 rounds with my new i200's, and I could stand a little softer feel.

Does anyone know whether ordering the retro spec lofts will result in a reduction in the off set. It would if Ping bends the standard loft 2 degrees weak but not if the lofts are case into the retro spec clubs. Anyone know how they do it?

Steve

They'll change the bounce and lie a little. They have standard heads and bend strong/weak off of that.

Coming to this forum for someone to talk you down from buying new irons is like an alcoholic going to a bar and asking the drunk guy next to you to convince you not to order another double scotch.

Am I in the minority for thinking they sort of remind me of the Mizuno MP 25?

Since the OP is asking to talk him off the ledge...I’ve tried this and the i500, compared to p790 7i with Nippon 130s... it was an easy decision
