Yeh definitely makes a difference and there is no dispersion issues , love the engage wedges , just opened these fresh heads a few weeks ago to get shafted. Only got 1 more set of heads to go then will need to find new offerings 🤪

Well the highlight for this season was winning our 4 man team event with a gross of -9 ,

Hopefully after a full recovery this year will be back to playing a decent level of golf

Some very good golf played , and managed to take the straightest drive by landed on the line 😂

First thing I did was go straight to the pro shop and swap the bag for some new shoes and balls.

This is the cause of falling out with my f7 and hitting my crossover literally like 5 yards shorter , had a spare

Aeroburner 15* 3 wood head tour issue

And a spare (my favourite shaft) Fujikura pro 85 tipped 1"

Had it built to 42"

Will be out on Friday for a test ,

Was my favourite 3 wood for years

Well had an iron fitting during the week and tried lots of different clubs , the model I went for shocked me and shocked my fitter ,

I'll keep the make and model to myself until they get here

Can't wait to put them to the test

Yes, is the simple answer, I was struggling to finish a round with the pain in my elbows and hips. Now I can play as much as I want. I used to play 5 times a week with a few range sessions , I reckon I could do this again thanks to graphite

What do you call home in Perth?

I also have arthritis in my wrists and thumb joints so switched to graphite in my irons which helped. Moving to midsize grips also helped and I actually prefer a midsize grip now despite having small hands.

I'm at Dundonald.

    Hi All

Well after a few rounds under my belt now with the Lynx Vt I can say that Recoil shafts are definitely for me.

They remind me so much of the Ctaper Lite 115x I used to play all the time before the joint problems.

Great solid Kick at impact like you know you have really hit the ball.

The irons themselves are fantastic, the ball flight and control was exactly what I was looking for can't wait to get more practice in over the winter for the new season.

In your early posts I was going to ask if any true wrx'r mixed grips and didn't carry a hybrid .. but it morphed!

I'm a 1/4 Scot so you will have to accept my ball busting

I am almost done moving to all graphite myself. Hands and elbows not good (almost 51)

Just want to test the steelfiber 110's off grass in Florida in 3 weeks before getting more. Will then put the 125's in wedges
I am almost done moving to all graphite myself. Hands and elbows not good (almost 51)

Just want to test the steelfiber 110's off grass in Florida in 3 weeks before getting more. Will then put the 125's in wedges

Haha I don't mind a good ribbing, first time in years I actually do not care what my grips are.
I can't decide which ones I like best. I was strictly Champ C8 grips for years. But they are really firm.

Steelfibre shafts are great for transitioning. I tried them in a few heads, I just felt the load was better for me with the recoils.

It's winter you need a hybrid in the bag haha, let me know how the shafts turn out.

Those new Lynx irons look great! I just read a story about the Brit couple who have revived the name and I like their story. Can't wait to see those here state side.

    Thanks very much man.
They new equipment is really good , yeh that's true they put everything they had into getting lynx back up off the ground.

In my opinion the irons are as good if not better than the Ap2s and the vapor pro combos I had previously.

I'm pretty sure there are a couple of retailers state side that has them in stock, could be mistaken.

    Hi all

Well I will be testing a few shafts during the winter. I feel I'm spinning the crap out of the NV blue.

Driver shafts will be
UST elements Chrome 6F5T 69g (my go to)
PX evenflow T1100 (don't know what weight I'm getting in yet)
Tensai Pro white 60tx ( tried orange and didn't care for it)

Fairway

I had a lot of pull lefts with my Aeroburner when trying it again at the end of the season.
So picked up one of my favourite woods.
Taylormade '07' Burner TP 17.5*, currently has a Blur 75s in it I used to play the blur 75x I'll give it a try and if it needs shafted it will happen.

Hybrid will be changed.
I'm going back to a trusty
Adams super 9031 23* ( 21.5* actual loft digitally checked) Diamana whiteboard 82s

All the rest will stay the same. I might actually take the 4 iron out the bag because the gapping will need really assessment. But will get on the launch monitor before the start of the season for that.

All suggestions on shafts welcome 👌

    Hi all

Well thought I would add some pictures of the woods I've settled on (for now)

Cobra F8 elements Chrome
I've set it in the lowest setting and have added a 17g weight at the rear and a 12g weight in the heel. Im playing a shorter Shaft so wanted to bring the swing weight back up.
Also I miss in the heel mostly so adds some mass behind my miss.

Fairway 07 Burner TP
Speaks for itself , it's pretty much a classic now.

Adams Super 9031
This is just point and shoot and just consistent for me.

Also pictured the headcovers my wife and my old man had made for me.
Recently had a daughter who is 6 months, so dad golf is happening the now so got a little cover for her.

    Hi all

Well finally got to demo the F9
Thought I would end up being blown away and want to swap immediately but that was not the case.
I was crushing my F8, flight was better and distance was overall better. As I said before just for me.
I even put my shaft in the F9 to see if that helped but I think it was a swing weight issue, the head is so light compared to my F8 because of the extra heavy weight I have in it.
I just felt my F8 was more solid and looked so much better at address, I did take lots of comparison pictures but they were all to large of files to upload apart from one from the bottom.

Thanks for looking.
