Ill bite... went to P770 TMs. I was tired of people looking at my irons funny like your irons are made by the same company that makes the crappy range balls. I know I should not care... The srixons where a great club. Much better than the 900 forged for me.

...and this is why I love and hate these forums at the same time! I too have had the 765's for about a year and half now. Looking at other stuff for the same reasons listed above (brand vanity, rough/turf interaction). I have also basically narrowed it down to the 2 sets of irons already mentioned: the P770 and the X Forged 2018. I currently play the 765's 5-9i, with a 23* U65 (4i) and the RTX-3 46* (PW). I am definitely a proponent of a blended set.

It's pretty obvious the X Forged 2018 can be blended much the same, and they have raw wedges in the MD4's, which is pretty much a requirement for me. I have never really taken a liking to Callaway clubs though. I have an Apex hybrid now, which is great. Other than that, nothing.

To those of you who went P770 - did you blend the set? If so, how?

Also - I am definitely not getting rid of the Srixon's (backups!).

I don't play the Srixon's... but I've often thought about getting some.. Having said that...I must be cut from a different cloth than most of you. Several mentioned "brand recognition" or "people looking at my clubs funny". I would actually prefer to play something different than everyone else. I dislike being like everyone else...

The 585 / 785 in a couple weeks!

THIS is why I might cancel my order for the I500's !!

No! I need your feedback on i500. kinda considering it for myself as replacement.

interesting to see how others replacement overlap with my other consideration as well: P770 and X forged.

somehow, I cannot like the look of Mizuno even though everyone loves it

Yeah I don't get this at all. Play your game. I wear two rain gloves all the time because my hands are terribly sweaty - I don't care if people think I'm weird.

It's also funny because I ASPIRE to play the 565/765. But I guess that is what happens when you're still gaming Mizunos from 2005.

Went from 765 to Miura baby blades.

A very nice transition if you want to try something a bit more aggressive is some 965 or 945s. Also can't go wrong with the new MP18 or P-730.

I'm very happy having made the transition to blades. Only downside is I lost a bit of distance due to going to traditional lofts and not getting any extra help... but love the consistency.

Replaced 545 with Callaway Apex CF16. I get more spin with Apex and that’s a reason. I hit 765 handful of times and really like it, but not enough to switch.

Got to be honest, I don't see what I can improve by changing my 565/765 combo

I don't need much more length, I am happy with the distances I hit them, and I can't see how another set of irons will make me much straighter?

Will have to hit the new models to see how they do, but for the moment I love the 565/765!

I have been pondering a switch to a hollow head design (P790 or i500) mostly because I would like to get a bit higher flight (which these hollow heads claim to deliver). especially on slightly thin hits (I find the 565 flight pretty low - but with good spin - on thin side mishits).

Anyone compare Z565 versus the hollow heads?

P790. Not looking back. Could not get along with V sole. It may work for somebody else, just not for me.
