tex my epic is standard. it's not the head that's the major difference. the shaft is way different. i had to baby the last one. i have to hit this one. city shouldn't have changed drivers because he hit his old one well. i didn't hit my old one well i just (kinda) knew my misses and could play for them

Gonna be like 15 players going to the second hole for 1 spot. Short down hill par 5 with a wicked green. That should be good.

    edit : 18 players.

that gif is actually interesting. your hands are remarkably close at impact to their address position. that's a trademark of good ball strikers. some people like me and phil mickelson have their hands way higher. Fabb why does it matter if your head is backing up? I'm not sure I believe that you are throwing your hands at the ball.

His lower body is stalling and his hands are taking over.

Probably why he feels he is throwing his hands

    That's probably a good take.

I say "probably" because I don't know jack about the swing.

But, I know where my ding a ling is pointed at impact, and it's quite left of where his ding a ling is pointed.

Where The ding a ling goes.. the balls most follow..

actually they are, but they converted to a par 4. I was confused by the announcers saying "par is a good score here".

The 2nd hole on #4 is my favorite green complex on that course. They buried 2 or maybe even 3 woolly mammoths under the green.

Christian is down there now visiting his dad, playing #9 now and playing #7 on Friday. He's going to the tournament tomorrow. So jealous.

Not a self diagnosed thing. I brought a professional to the range with me after the round lol.

Go look at anybody that's somebody. They ain't backing up.

Thank you for making me regret posting, Domes. I'm having daydream nightmares of that GIF already.

45 days fortunately. i do want to look up when that was. i've played 3 club c rounds and 1 casual round with it. i wasn't exactly trying to figure it out the first three rounds. i was 100% playing golf. i'm not very far into the adjustment time period. and i'm not totally convinced that a driver that goes significantly further isn't to my benefit anyway? for me hitting it further off the tee may be a more realistic path to improvement than hitting it straighter?

13 players for 1 spot now, on the 17th hole.

That's the hole where I hit my tee shot across the road and Fort filmed my shot back into the fairway while traffic was stopped to let me hit

That's where I snap hooked one against Obee and then broke my hybrid shaft in my backswing on my second shot. Then, a couple of us teed off on the wrong 18th hole.

It really depends on what type of undies you have one. Tighty whities/boxer briefs/banana hammock tends to keep Big Jim and the twins quiet. If you rock boxers or heaven forbid, to commando, use can use the centrifugal force of the dingus flopping to speed the hips to gain some distance. Disclaimer - I do not recommend going commando walking the golf course. Especially in 90 degree temps are if you are carrying extra lbs.

I'm not convinced you can't have a driver you hit further, and also consistently. You went in there and got a recommendation to find a head of approximately X degrees of loft, with an x-flex shaft approximately X grams in weight. You half-a$$ hit a few different things, and then walked out with something you never really hit. Take an hour, and hit more different things, until you find what you like the most.

If I've been hitting something for 4 rounds, and I'm not sure about it by then, there's 0.0 chance I'm keeping that club around.

Agree, I think that's a big enough sample size to make a decision on a club.

Despite not playing much since July, my changes have worked out well. The X Forged irons are much more controllable, the 62° is really handy and I just built a 41.5" Steelhead XR that had a good first outing last night.
