***ATTENTION***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***ATTENTION***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***ATTENTION***

Update 8/14 - ***Migration work continues. Estimate Go Live to new board 8/17***

Last year, in an effort to improve the capability of our forums, we switched to new software. We expected tremendous scalability and rapid customization that would significantly improve each Member's experience across multiple devices and integrate flawlessly with social media platforms.

Unfortunately, after a significant capital expense, we have decided that the length of time and the additional cost to reach our goals make this enterprise untenable.

Thus, we have made the difficult decision to transition the forums to our original software platform. We’re excited that, in the nearly two years since we began the process of our most recent switch, our original platform has been upgraded significantly, and we are confident that the reversion will not only provide the stability that we desperately needed prior to our last move but will also return to the Membership the high level of customization that made our online community so great. We have also added technical resources to the GolfWRX staff that will allow us to build custom modules and modifications that we are confident will take the forums to the next level.

We remain the world's largest online golf community, and we still hold true to our core values and mission statement as written in 2005. Bearing both of those elements in mind, being the best and offering our Members a platform that is world-class are both requirements, not options, and it is that spirit that has motivated this decision.

So, please pardon our mess over the next five days or so while we transition the forums.

A few important notes: Current content will be accessible during that time, but the forums will be READ ONLY, and you will not be able to start new threads or reply to posts. Personal Messaging is enabled but PMs sent/received from the time the board was frozen will not carry over. We know this is inconvenient, and we apologize, and we greatly appreciate GolfWRXers bearing with us through the transition.

We are very excited about starting this next chapter for GolfWRX and getting back to the high-quality Member experience we all expect as soon as possible.

Got a free pair of the spiked model. Solid shoe. Not sure I'd pay retail when you can get the 2018 model for half the price.

I tried on the spikeless model and thought they were very uncomfortable. YMMV.

Same for me. They had a very weird bulge that I felt just in front of my heel that made me eliminate them quickly. I love the spiked version (last years).
The adipower 4orged spikeless are much more comfortable

The new 360 XT SL felt good but were narrow. They didn't have any wide, but I think I would only buy them for a decent price. I can get Biom Hybrid 3's cheaper.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by this. Is it like a high arch in the shoe? What direction is the "Front" of your heel?

Had a chance to try on the new xt’s Both spikes and sl. They are the best fitting adidas shoes I’ve tried on for my feet I think ever...which makes me believe that these won’t be very well received by the general public lol. Nice right heel pocket and good room in the toe box. I believe the most decisive part about these shoes will be the arch support. They have a relatively high arch support which I really like, and I don’t remember past iterations having as aggressive an arch support as this years model.

Wish pgatss had a pair of the boa in my size to see if they worked for me too because I know the boa versions of their shoes tend to fit slightly different. Anyone get a chance to try them on a compare to the regular version?

Will probably pick up a pair for the season and then stock when they eventually go on close out at the end of the season.

PGASS has the Boa SL and every pair is a wide. Wanted to go with Boa since I don’t have a pair but the top of the tongue sits very high on the top of your foot compared to the regular 360. Not sure what to order.

When I tried them on, the arch was very high for me. That was the only thing that was uncomfortable to me about them. I think a different insole would fix that, but I could be wrong. The spiked version was a little more snug than last year's model, but not in a bad way. I may end up getting both by the end of the year.

So I got my spiked version last night. I noticed the higher arch. I think it is nice.

However, what has not been mentioned is that there is one less spike on the toe from last year's model. Due to that, you have little support from tipping over forward. I know that will sound weird, but put the shoes on and you will see what I'm talking about. If you go on their site, you will see that there is no "spike" forward and towards the toe.
Does anyone know if the new "X-traction" soles on some of the spikeless models provide good traction?

Played four rounds in AZ with the 360 BOOST SL earlier this month and had zero traction issues.

Excited about the Adipure SP's either in the grey or white. Any feedback on these? I have an old pair of adipures and they are one of the best golf shoes I've owned, even without the boost, still good to this day.

I have been looking at these. I'm not too sure on the sole design though. I miss the old Cardiff's.

Yes, the new Tour360 Knit 2.0 will release later this season. There was a pic of the grey colorway posted from their PGA Show booth.

Sadly I'm not a fan of this years 360's... for me, they are not nearly as comfortable as the past couple of years.

Just got a pair of the 360 XT delivered. Have a very pronounced area that sticks up around the arch/midfoot. The insole is super thick and padded. Whilst I think they are a nice shoe, I will likely return them.

Has anyone bought or tried on the Forgefiber BOA?

    Yes. Forgefiber BOA are solid.

Btw, that lump pretty much pushes into your normal.arch, or at least that how it feels to me. It's like as it presses down, it forms to your foot shape. Have both the forgefiber and 360 SL.

Traction is great, played a mountain course (dry but very hilly) no slip.

I switched the insole in the 360 SL to a sports one I use and it is much more comfortable. No more massive "arch support".

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
