Diamana D+ LTD vs. Tensei Pro White

Anyone hit both and compared performance?

I know they essentially have the same bend profile, so was curious what the main difference is?

Feel? Ball speed?

Want to get one of the two in a TS3 head, and don’t want to pay the up charge for the Tensei unless there’s a noticeable difference!

Appreciate any feedback you mace have, cheers.

Pro White is stiffer in the tip yet feels smoother and less tight overall, presumably because of the Kevlar handle. You can, in my opinion feel marginally less handle flex with the limited as well. Both will take all you can give them, however Tensei Pro certainly feels more refined.

Having played both, 100% agree w/ TollBros

Were dispersion and distance simile between the two? Do they launch/spin the same?

Pro white spins a bit less. As for dispersion, that's something determined by the dynamic of your personal feel and comfort zone, which will determine how you load and release the golf club and the consistency of such.

Are ball speed and launch similar (in the same ball park)?? Cheers!

Not anything most people would notice in real life. Similar is accurate.

Bumping this thread! Looking to upgrade finally from my original Whiteboard, and wondering which of these I should go for. Love the soft butt feel of the WB and these look like good alternatives, but the D+ is significantly cheaper and wondering if the Pro White is worth the extra money.

Sounds like the feel will be marginally more stable and marginally smoother feel?

Interesting to see so many D+ on tour and there really weren't that many pro whites in drivers. Seems like a lot of guys that did use D+ in the past and moved on are not putting pro white in the bag and that's interesting.

This just goes to show the Tour guys stick with what works. I suppose they have luxury of testing any shaft they want with being out of pocket. And most Tour guys aren’t chasing more yards, they seem to be more about finding and keeping a good distance and dispersion balance.

D+ is more similar to the Pro White. The Limited has a stiffer feel overall in the handle as it has a bump above the tip and is not as soft in the handle.

I have played D+ (for years) and Tensei Pro White (off and on for the past year or so) and love them both. I did not get along with the Limited version as it does not have the same feel in your hands.

I have played and liked both shafts however with the pro white being softer in the handle, I would be more inconsistent if I swung too hard as I tend to pull the handle from the top of my backswing. The D+ LTD was a bit firmer under the hands allowing me to go swing harder with more confidence. Pro white is good if you have a smooth tempo and don’t pull on the handle hard from the top.

I currently have the D+ limited 70x in my g410 plus, I have also played the Tensei Pro White 60tx in the g410 plus and I have the DF60x in my Epic Triple Diamond. I think the general feedback here is fairly accurate.

I'm a smooth 110-112mph driver speed and harder swings hit 115-116mph, fastest I recorded on GCQuad swinging off my shoes was 121mph.

With the G410 plus 9 degree, turn down to 8 degree, I hit the D+ limited the most consistent and the longest. The Tensei Pro White was smoother and easier to hit but was a lil shorter and dispersion wasnt as tight. The DF60x in my triple diamond has a very pronounced kick to it and super smooth, if I want pure distance I reckon the DF is the way to go but at 280-290yards fairways with the D+ limited vs 300-310yards two way miss, I'd take fairways all day....

Every golfswing is different but for my current swing I think the D+ Limited in my driver, 3 wood and 5 wood paired with a high MOI head of the Ping g410plus n g410 3 and 5 wood is very stable fairway finders. A combo I think more golfers should try.

Hi,

I`m trying to get this question to a correct topic.

I playing Dianama D+ ltd 70X and it feels great. I have also tried original Tensei white 60X which felt ”whippier” to me and caused little higher launch angle. My swing speed is 105-108 mph.

In my area testing possibilities are quite limited so I wonder how different is D+ 60S is compared to D+ 70X considering launch and spin. I have read tables and searched reviews but haven`t found review with differences between 60S and 70X. My SS is around on limit what manufacturer suggest to S or X stiff. So I wonder is there any benefits to go from X to S?
