that's good, I just know my driver was 3.5 swing weights lower with the PO vs HZRDUS Black, love the driver shaft but too scared to try one in a 3 wood.

Played it today for the first time. Was great not light at all.

I have 70tx in my driver and no issues. It was in a m4 head playing at 45.25” and it sw at D3 with no modification.

Been struggling with the M6 driver in the course..
Sound is a bit off outside, feels like it's a bit too muted and usually when I catch one off the middle, my playing partners are like "that sounded like you missed that one".. Also not getting along very well with the lowish' face, the painted grey area creeps down to the face like why? I would just prefer a higher face like the one that was on the M4. M6 has an alignment aid that focuses the ball closer towards the heel, and that's where most of my misses have been, a lot of this just feels bit off coming from the M4 that was a solid performer end of last season..

Anybody else having issues with the M6 now that season is starting and we get to play out on the course?

Yeah the center of the club face being more towards the heel is a bit weird to me. I have the M5 and also noticed that my misses on the lower part of the face feels horrible, but when I catch one in the middle oh my - the feel and sound is amazing though.

Agree on alignment - first 2 weeks I was getting nothing but heel strikes. But now I line up the ball more towards toe and with the improved strike location I can say this is the best feeling and sounding driver I've ever played.

Yes, on perfect center strikes its more muted and feels like the ball really squishes into the face, it gets louder/harder feeling on off center strikes (Same can be said about the F9).

Dont let the sound fool you, instead use it as a reminder that your ball is going to be way out there.

    My M6 has been money.
Turned the loft down a touch and it goes. Haven't noticed any increase in heel strike, I actually like the face alignment.

Are you finding the 70tx orange launching high in tm heads. My t.I. 16m2 and retail m2 both are launching high with a 70tx orange. T.i. head being 7grams heavier still getting a very high launch. M3 440 is a little better but higher than I want. I put a 70x ahina in them and its noticeably lower launch. Im guessing the profile of the orange is throwing things off. Playing length is 45.5, I choke up a little as this is the length I got it at. Im not sure if half an inch would cause flight issues.

No I don’t find it that high launch. Launches pretty mid to me. Very forgiving and long.

I added 4g of lead tape up near the face. Head is weighing in at 197g now. Play it at about 7.25 loft

Yeah it's a funny feel, like the only times I have gotten comments on the "horrible sound" from bystanding friends is when I have nutted one of the center, it's weird..

Maybe I have to start aligning the ball more towards the toe also, just feels stupid to have to align the ball to a different place then it should be according to the ALIGNMENT AID on top of the crown :hushed:

They make a swing weight kit for the M6, too. It's called lead tape a lot of it if you cut your shaft down a half inch.
My miss lately with the driver is just a dead block right. A 2-fairways-over dead block right. Not the sticks fault. Very much so mine. But, I love everything else about it.

Putting more weight farther back in the head is going to increase launch and spin.

I have my lead tape on my m6 right up near the face.

The hotmelt brought the head weight up and deepen the sound. Head weight is 206g and played at 44.75”. Love it!

Picked up the m5 9.0 and have a d+ 70x at 45.25”. Have some 13.5 weights coming in today but still was able to get it dialed in outside of sw. Yesterday was a great day driving and lead to one of my lowest rounds in a long time. The epic flash was a little bit longer at my fitting but tended to go left and the sound drove me nuts. Now the m5 on the other hand was spot on. I am impressed how slight misshits seem to keep their ballspeed. I had a drive that I felt like I hit poorly and when we got to my ball my buddy said “oh no your bad strike only went 290”. I think with this head getting the head dialed in with the right shaft and taking advantage of the weights helps a lot. I think I got lucky and mine looks open so I went one in the front and one in the draw and it’s been great.

I actually bought a 4g and 7g m5 weight off eBay... had to return both. When I put them in to lock in place, they never actually locked in place. Id turn them til you hear that louder click like it should be locked in, but both were flimsy and moved during the downswing. $9 on eBay vs the $30 Tm wants to charge.... decided to just add lead tape instead

I hotmelted my M6 and got the head weight to 201 grams. I use a AD IZ 7s shaft at a playing length of 45.25”. It’s a beast!

As for feel, no problems here, but my strikes are usually mid/high on the face and misses are towards the toe.

The face dented on my m6 today while playing. Have a replacement coming.

Was getting some weird flights. Straight blocks or a loopy duck hook that fell out off the sky.

When I caught it more left of center it was fine. But catch it on the flat spot and it didn’t go anywhere

The face dented on my m6 today while playing. Have a replacement coming.

Was getting some weird flights. Straight blocks or a loopy duck hook that fell out off the sky.

When I caught it more left of center it was fine. But catch it on the flat spot and it didn’t go anywhere

    Twistface bro!

    Uhhhh no... it is dented

I think he was joking. Well, I hope so.

    :)

    yes indeed
