So does anyone have pics or knowledge of the new M5 & M6 wood line coming?

Don’t get me wrong, I love TM metelwoods, but sometimes I wish they followed to Titleist track of only releasing new a new driver/FWs every other year. I was just about to get an M3 with the pro 2.0 TS and now I’m wondering if I should just wait until these new sticks come out.....

I’m hearing the new M5 will have a T track and more of a matte finish on top.

They need to come up with something different. T track... then Y track.. back to T?? Come on TM. I love my M2 but I have a feeling I'll be stepping away from TM products after my fitting later this year.

 

It shouldn’t matter if they use Y tracks, T tracks or MWT. If it works better for you then buy it, if not there will be other options out there for sure. I love the fact they keep trying to bring something better out even if it doesn’t work for me.

 

Will the face be twist-ier?

T-track in front or back? Could effect launch/spin and Hammerhead inclusion. Looking forward to seeing these next year!

I'd love to see the stats on how many people actually put the weights anywhere but the center or the ends of the tracks. Seems like an excuse to make a $500 driver more than anything at this point.

I can promise you that there's no ground breaking tech that's going to take you hit it further or straighter.

 

Now if you want to wait just to see what the new ones look like and or just want the newest because that's what you want, I'm right there with you.

 

We just have to be reasonable about our expectations going from one years model to the next despite marketing efforts and dry ball data.

Add jailbreak, milled face without sacrificing twist face, a thinner material for the face too, fix the aerodynamics like the TS, and then make it more complicated that mizuno drivers, and lastly but not least, put something in the head to dampen feels. Maybe some Knex? You old bastards remember those? K’nex?

 

But seriously, changes are gonna be minimal and more than likely not worth it but, I have been fooled before and my neighbor does work for TM so I’ll keep an open mind.
