It was about as funny as syphilis at the start and it has gotten progressively less funny over the last 10 years.

Playing with a price point is a slippery slope. Can I ask your source?

Not so sure about that - the 9/1 pricing I saw shows the same retail as M3 and M4 for the new versions.

Will have to check the Callaway pricing.

Sounds like TM wants to mirror Callys 2019 price point for drivers.

Unfortunately, that appears to be the trend. The big 4 will all be $500 or more by the sound of it (TM, Cally, Titleist, Ping)

You know TM will try to price their driver higher to align with a Cally. I could see them trying to go $549.99 for their new offering.

In canada we will be paying $700 plus taxes for all the new offerings its getting to be insanity. They're are tons of titleist ts models just sitting on the shelves since the snow is flying. Its No wonder we've had a couple of stores open that carry used equipment at a reasonable price point. Stockpiling a few 9 degree tour aeroburner heads may be a good idea.

699cdn dollars plus tax which is 5% in alberta many of the other provinces pay 14% tax. I dont know what you guys in the states pay, for the current ts3 and 2 driver. Thats nearly a total of $800 for a stock driver in most of Canada. $649 for m2 and $529 for m4. Ping g400 with tour shaft is $629. I think rogue was $659.

That equates to about $530 USD, which isn't that far off. Maybe I am looking at this the wrong way, but it would seem to be very similarly priced.

Currently the ts drivers are $50 plus more than any other offering. M4 is the best deal at $529. $170 cheaper than the ts models.

They might be flying off the shelves in the U.S. but they are not moving very well up here. I spoke with the manager of a private shop and golftown on Monday. All be it sales are never good in november when the snow starts flying. They also said the orders are down even for xmas this year.

Pretty slow here too. I stopped in to our local shop after work the other day. The guy behind the counter said I was the 3rd person in the door all day.

Exactly. It will likely be around $700 in Australia as well but its still the same price! It just means our dollar is fairly crap compared to the USD.

most likely after the show in late January. Past models have been released in mid February. That will be my best guess. Nothing on shafts as of yet.
