Mizuno T7 wedges production stopped

Just thought I'd throw up an update here. Ordered a 52* T7 wedge but the order was left unfulfilled because they did not have the head anymore and are not producing anymore. I feel like most of us saw this coming with the price reduction to $100 in most places. Just thought I'd let everyone know the latest on it. I'm glad I bought a 56* and 60* because I love the wedges. I even asked for a different head to be bent to 52* but that seemed out of the question as well unfortunately.

Have a SM7 52* brushed steel coming in instead. Titleist didn't charge for the upgraded shaft to Project X 6.5.

Shout out to the folks at 2ndswing for clear communication lines to help me out.

Hopefully they’ll do another T series wedge down the road.

I don’t see myself playing the S18s down the road. The shape is too large and I prefer a blade wedge.

I hear you about Vokeys.

Yea, I was hoping the boron would increase the longevity as well! It's not all that bad when you're forced to buy a Vokey wedge though... Although not really sure what direction they'll go since they lost a really good talent recently.

Maybe I'm living under a rock......who lost a good talent?

This is a sad day.....

I have 8 of them, all still in great shape, should last a while. I heard new T wedge may not release until next MP release.

Hope they last and go the distance! Some people didn’t like the boron because it made it feel harder but I enjoyed it. I absolutely think the T7s took the cake. Oh well though. S18s just don’t do it for me

James Patrick did some high end design work for titleist but it looks like they’ve parted ways. Not sure if he had an influence on their Vokey line but we’ll see I guess. His wedges were going for $2000 a piece or something ridiculous

Glad I picked up a 52* and 58* from Mizuno for about $65 each a month or so ago when they had a ridiculous sale on them!

I can wait, my T7s are working out very well.

I’m not a fan of the S18s and other wedges that are using this “specific center of gravity” stuff.

I prefer a small headed wedge in a true blade style to match my irons.

Have the 52, 56, & 60 in blue - so damn tempting to grab a backup set in satin for $79 at Budget Golf. Legit prefer these to the SM6 and SM7 lines.
