the obscurity is probably lost on most. Rare collection from the eastern plains of Colorado. Probably the only one outside of La Junta.

Plastic shiny coin for beer from the local stripclub you'll get at the entrance. Most of the time people I play with recognize it haha

I have a bunch of Tequila Patron poker chips due to the fact I found a whole bag full of them in a junked car at work. One special poker chip is one from a tattoo parlor here locally for $20 off a tattoo. A friend of mine (and former sponsor) owns that shop and 3 others now. I beat him out of $20 one day on a trick bet. He paid off with that chip. I only pull it out when playing him to remind him I beat him. We get 10 million laughs out of that

    A peppermint
You better watch your marker then if you play in this area any. No joke those big Fox Squirrels love peppermint candy for some reason. Actually those jokers are tame and will eat anything

I collect coins from all over the world and my friends know this and they bring back all sorts of cool stuff for me. I have a ball mark repair tool with magnetic holder for a coin about the size of a US quarter. So I cycle different magnetic coins from the collection. Currently using a coin from the UAE that a friend got while traveling on his way to India.

Beer cap when u are far away from hole/anybody else's line... easy to see and uniquely yours. Plus, easy to justify spending $15.00 on that craft 6-pack, "But honey, it comes with 6 free ball markers, so it's really a good deal."

Never thought about using the actual cap. Depending on what group I'm playing with, sometimes we mark our balls with our actual beers. We have one group that we actually are allowed to leave the beer as an obstacle. (scores are not posted FYI.)

I don’t know how cool it is but I looked for a few months for a quarter from 1990 (birth year) to use as a marker.

    Spare change from foreign trips.

Some of it is not so "spare" as every time I bought something at St Andrews I kept some of the coins so I in know when I use a particular 2 pound coin, 25P and 1pound coin I know I came out of the till at the Old Course stater shack. I probably have about $20USD of St Andrew coins. Funny thing is I like them better than ball marks I could have bought there.

I also try to switch it up, as I know I will lose coins sooner or later, so I don't get too attached to one ball marker.

As a Northern Coloradan I appreciate this. It'd be like finding a Eaton country club marker in Estes Park.

I use my 1 year sobriety chip. But not if my line is anywhere near another ball, then I use a stitch plastic one that goes into the green flat.

Why not use that sobriety chip all the time? Be proud of what you've accomplished. Congrats pholway!!!!!

I use either of these religious artifacts that I received from a Nepalese monastery - ancient Yeti scalp or hand. Of course, in order to practice good golf etiquette, I use only the pinky bones.
