Evnroll - Long term reports? Anyone still using these?

I've been doing a lot of research on the Evnroll putters, and it seems when they first came out in 2016, everyone was raving and bagging these. Especially the ER2. I found on this forum a lot of users that were ecstatic about them in 2016, but I noticed their signature blocks showed different (non-Evnroll) putters.<br />
<br />
I was wondering if anyone has used their ER putters for the 2+ years? How about the ER2? Have they passed the test of time?<br />
<br />
I spent hours trying out the ER putters, and the ER2 has much better feedback and feel than any other putter (non-Evnroll) I've tried and they seem more consistent with speed and direction control. But in terms of actual putts dropped, it seems like it isn't significantly better than my Daddy Long Legs. The high price is the biggest issue I have (is the juice worth the squeeze).

    Still have my ER5 and I’m still loving it. No plans on replacing it for the foreseeable future. If I actually went and practiced my putting I’d probably love it even more

    Still have my ER2 in the bag. My SC Studio Stainless NP2 and TM Spider Black are still my backups.

    I’ve been on board for a long time. I have an ER5 and an ER2. I can’t find anything to bounce them from the bag. And i have 14 putters in my office. Including an Edel i had custom fit to me this year and spent several hundred on, thinking it would be a backup/1A. It just doesn’t feel as good. <br />
    <br />
    I literally can’t find anything that’s as good.

    I had an ER2 all of last year and sold it impulsively after a couple bad putting weekends. My 3-putt rate dropped tremendously while I used it but I started to have problems lining the head up on short putts.This was coming from 6 years with a flowneck putter with more toe hang.<br />
    <br />
    I got a good deal on an ER3 and LOVE IT. The head has a little more toe hang than ER2, the shape frames the ball great, and I get all the benefits that I saw from the first one I owned. Multiple playing partners have made a point to say how good the putter sounds and looks, and none of them have even heard of Evnroll!

    Well if it speaks to how good it is, I think this is now his 2nd season with the club, coming from a guy who gets to try out free clubs for a living. I will say though, RS has not been doing as many club reviews these days. Most of his videos are course vlogs of some kind now, with less emphasis on reviewing product.<br />
    <br />
    10 of his last 30 videos are club reviews, whereas back in the day he was primarily only doing club reviews and golf tips/lessons.

    I have one, used all season and I went from N/H to 30! <br />
    all jokes aside its good, I hit a scotty futura, O-works (bought and returned), and the Evnroll. I honestly did not want to get an evnroll over a scotty, but the performance was no contest.

    Guerin invented club face grooves. Then he invented Evnroll. You're in good hands. He da man. <img src='http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    One year into an ER2, not changing anytime soon. It took me a while to get used to it, but now it feels second nature.<br />
    <br />
    In the end, putting is all confidence. For me, the price tag of these actually helps with that: I know that when I miss, it's on me, because there's no way a $200+ putter with a ton of R&D and high manufacturing tolerances is at fault. So I trust the stick.

    I had the ER2 but just never got along with it consistently. I play a lot of courses with medium green speeds and had issues getting the ball to the hole. Face felt kind of dead. Lovely putters though.

    Well said, mirrors my feelings about my non-EVNROLL Rife putter exactly. And Guerin actually speaks about that in various videos, about how people told him his grooves caused them to hit short. He says at first he told them just to hit it further but when they didn't work he ended up creating EVNROLL as a solution to that. In other words the narrowing of the grooves outward was meant to create more face contact on off-center hits, and the new groove distancing was meant to address the lack of face contact causing the short hits. Super interesting stuff, he demonstrates it on his robot with his velvet roll board.

    I picked an ER2 up from BST and used it all last year. Never putted better but changed my putting stroke a little last offseason and I have more putter lean, which doesn’t work great with the standard 2* loft. Great putter though

    Added some lead tape to the Rife 2-blade, changed my swing a bit, and now it's one of the most dangerous clubs here. So the issues were not groove related after all. Just goes to show you, it's never the club. <img src='http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

    Used an ER2 for the last couple of seasons and very happy still. <br />
    I do struggle slightly if the greens are very slow but I have that problem with any putter to be honest.

    Which do you like more, or do they serve different purposes? I wondered about the aluminum mallet heads and how different they are from the steel heads in terms of feel?<br />
    Did you ever try the ER2 to compare with the ER3?
