Maybe Cobra was right all along...

We have Cally now coming out with a green and yellow driver. My bet is the M5/M6 line will be Orange and Blue? Cobra now having yellow on their woods, and I think bringing back other color options, too. So Ping and Titleist will be the only clubs I can play that don't make me feel like I'm in a 1980's discotech? Thankfully my current Srixon driver is all black with just a hint of red.

If that's the M6, I wonder what they're going to call that welded on bar on the back?

    Crowbar Technology?

    RE-Bar Strength Technology?

    Extended Rear Weighting Technology?

Welded On Steel Piece So The Head Don't Break Technology?

Good thing he's wearing gloves in the picture... you don't want to spread that design to all the other irons in the factory
    M2 or M3 or M4 or ...
Some driving iron for my home Links course
Titleist Blades when I feel lucky otherwise some AP2 or Pings
    A Vokey wedge or 2

If that pic is legit, this thread isn't long for this world...

In other news, the idea of some sort of rear bracing reminds me a little of the Adams XTD irons.

If its Orange, then they will never get DJ into one. He has it in his contract to never have anything orange. He was reluctant to play the R1 for that reason. That's why they went to the all black model.

Why am I getting the feeling that the new owners of TM have taken matters of club design into thier own hands?

Nike calling from the graves and want their Slingshot back...

So ironic that I just read in the thread about what could have been for Nike that Slingshot iron was a something quite ahead of its time and never caught on.

I bought them as my first set and had them for awhile as I got better at the game. Then decided I didn't want clubs that made me look like such a beginner and sold them to a friends brother. I recently heard that he still has them and plays them. Might have to book a round with him and hit a few shots with them for old times sake!
