Golf getaway for November

I live in Alberta Canada and the weather sucks. Most courses are closed with a few not so great ones open on warmer days.

I need a getaway so I’m looking at going to the U.S for an extended weekend to golf. I don’t care where I go I just want to play decent courses that won’t run $100 a round and the wether is around 65*f or warmer.

Any suggestions?

The RTJ Trail in Alabama is always a solid choice. Rack rate green fees are less than $100 w/cart at the vast majority of courses, plus a lot of stay and play specials.

The Gulf Coast from Panama City FL to Biloxi MS is less traveled, but if you do some research you can find a ton of great, reasonably priced courses along that stretch as well.

My truest sympathies go out to the residents of the Florida panhandle. Afraid golf won't be right there for a while due to the hurricane

I have actually only gone in December. Early December a couple years ago, Christmas week last year and I was told I was pretty lucky. I had calm conditions and sunny. Hit 70 one day, mid 60s the other. The course is always susceptible to wind. I am going in November this year (Thanksgiving) I went back to 2008 historical data for the days I am playing this year and only twice was the high in the 50s. Majority high 60s low 70s, a couple high 70s. Coming from Chicago where it might be negative degrees, it is a great change.

You SHOULD get great weather in Mobile, AL, Montgomery AL, Savannah, GA, Hilton Head, SC, Houston, TX, Phoenix, AZ, and San Diego, CA

You COULD get great weather in Birmingham, AL, Pinehurst, NC, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Dallas, TX

Not mentioning Florida because hurricane season still in full effect and it's not looking too good right now.

Technically Hurricane season runs to November 30th, but November Hurricanes are very rare. 4 since 1900. The main part of hurricane season is late August to early October.

November is one of the best months in Orlando. Low chance of rain and highs in the high 70's.

Always recommend the Oxnard/Santa Barbara area. Amazing weather and golf options all under $100 a round. Rustic Canyon, Olivas Links, Soule Park, Ojai Valley Inn, Buenaventura, Sandpiper are well thought out and top out around $80
