need a driving iron (shaft) suggestion

Others have asked, but didnt get answer i need.

I need suggestions for something that launches/feels as close to the project x hazrdus black 105x as possible (cant find one) for my TP udi 3 iron. Or im happy to trade it for something else. Will only be used in wind, need to be super low launch. But id like graphite 100grams or heavier if possible. Tried 90/85 and they are too light.

One guy seemed to be going with a 130g steel shaft after trying a couple graphite's that didnt cut it. Dunno how that went.

Sexy .. but the struggle is real. Can't do maybes anymore, I'm losing a stroke or 2 every windy day I don't have.

Ordered a 115i Fuji, and hopefully that 105 black the other poster has. Test both. Sell the black if Fuji hits desired bullets. better resale.

I used to but ultimately decided I wanted a little higher launch. It’s not the best feeling shaft but if you want low bullets you’ll get them

Motore speeder 9.8 is way softer

Fuji 115 isn’t bad but it’s higher launching and spinning than the hzrdus.

Fuji pro 115i higher and spinny? for sure? Like I should install the black hazrdus and not even try installing Fuji?

guess 105 black then, no mucking around with the cheap route. its never worth it. im too fancy.

Not sure this is an accurate statement. Kbs prototype hybrid is mid/mid and pretty soft. The motore speeder 9.8x tour spec is certainly more stout.

Wasn’t a big fan of steel but the RIP 105 was nice. In the end the launch of it wasn’t bad but it was very very low spin off the deck.

For me, the KBS proto 105 was very similar dispersion but slightly more launch and spin. I also hit the 85/95 kbs Protos and those were higher launching and spin than the 105.

I would classify the 105 as a low end of the medium launch and low end of medium spin. The RIP was high end of low launch but low end of low spin.

Hope that makes sense.

Perfect sense. I need it to be low/low though, building this club for windy days! Guess hazrdus black wins the lowest of the low, thou I'm sure t1100 and motore speeder are comparable.

If you're use to heavy and stiff steel shafts in your irons it's going to be somewhat of a task to find the perfect lighter hybrid graphite shaft. i I spent the better part of a year searching for the perfect shaft that gave me the stability/balance/control/confidence heavier steel but with the distance of a lighter graphite. More specifically, I wanted to get to the distance number I wanted to with less effort, ie.. I wanted to get to a distance without having to go all out and kill it. Also at the time I had a cobra utility which, as a hollow cast head, felt like $hit with steel.

I've since decided to try a different approach and I have a 790udi 2i en route. I previously avoided these due to the fact of how hot the face is and that it would go too far but then I thought that maybe I could go back to a heavier steel shaft that I'm accustomed to and get the distance I want.
