I just rebuilt a Tour Edge iron-wood hybrid with a single-length (7i) shaft to match my iron set. The club is at least 10 years old, so that would probably double the age of anything else in my bag.

I would love for them to make a epic flash version but it seems the mini driver trend is over

I say, start the trend back up, if it works for you... Do it!! People chirp my bag for being dated all the time and then they end up opening their wallets in the 19th hole when its time to settle up!

The old Cleveland wedges had model numbers that reflected their initial release date, possibly design or build date. Anyway, the 797 would have referenced July 1997. The ageless 588 goes back to May 1988 and my favorite, the 691, reflects a June 1991 date. My current oldest club in the bag is a White Hot Odyssey #6.

Thanks for that bit of into on the numbers and dates, I didn't know that... we learn something every day!!!! image/superman.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':superman:' />

no shame in that, I still have a R7 TP 3-wood that goes in the bag from time to time!

I'm still playing a R7 Limited Driver in my backup/travel bag!

My Cleveland PW (see sig). It is not even that old. Maybe 3 years. I do have an old set of T-Zoid Trues that are in fairly good shape that I break out every once in a while. I think those are from around 1999 or 2000.

Oldest is putter but I don't think thats fair, a lot of people rocking older putters. Besides that it would be my TM Rescue '11. Absolute animal of a club.

For me front line 1982 Macgregor VIPs V-Steel 5 and 7 woods. 1997 Scotty Cameron Santa Fe or either 1955 Macgregor Tommy Armour Ironmaster. Also were gaming Old School 588s until I ended up with a Macgregor LRA 56*.

Wow there's some old stuff in here. 915h and 915f are my oldest. I have baby blades as well, so the design is old.. but they were new this year so that probably doesn't count.

Oldest club in my bag by age is my Titleist 905R. The oldest clubs by design would be a toss up between my Callaway VFT 5 wood or my Mizuno MP-33.

All great designs, and all go a long way to contradicting the myth that equipment makes you a better player.

Mine just found it's way back in the bag (which it does every year) after a short romance with an R15 3HL.

Only club that constantly finds it's way back in that's older is my Scotty Studio Design 1.5 Circle T. It's been around since 01 and I've owned it since 2011.

My Ping ISI irons are 18-years old. Nothing can move them out of my bag. Easy to hit and very forgiving. I tried a set of Mizuno JPX900 forged this year and they lasted exactly 3-rounds.
