Hoping for a few more rounds in Chicago - just need the wind and thermometer to cooperate.

Once the off-season starts then its time to re-read my golf books and look for that "one" club which will change my game forever ...... image/swoon.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':swoon:' />

there are people who play some golf.

there are people who play a lot of golf.

there are WRX'rs. this unique subgroup.

    those initiated understand.

getting close to the end it all seems to soon.

we anticipate a few short weeks here until most courses shut down when frost delays are more apparent or the snow hits.

fairways and short rough are going to play wet and muddy again in the morning as it rained today and more is expected tomorrow afternoon.

temp at tee time might be low forties. you fellows may recall we go at daylight.

I spend time this evening evaluating whether to bench a four wood for a hybrid more favorable to swing while wearing three layers.

these are the momentary thoughts of a knucklehead Wrx'er.

    best to all.
    currently playing:
    Steelhead III , FT-5 - D
    Warbirds, 3+, 4
    Hogan BH-5, 3-PW
    Wilson DynaPowered SW
    Ping Anser
    it works

when I need a change, there are 12 bags full to choose from .

Best definition of bittersweet that I've heard was: your mother-in-law died, but you found out you have to pay for the funeral.

In Denmark it has been 70+ several times the last few weeks and the summer haz been amazing.

Next week outlook is low 40’s or less

Normally we get several months of late summer/autumn with rain and Wind, this year hopefully we go straight to winter temps 😁

I go and play during the winter when I can. The official season is over at my club, but I keep playing. When our sons were still home, they’d play through the winter as well....they’ve moved on to bigger and better things (and we are stoked for them). So....my own personal cutoff is....is the course open? Fairways and greens, gents.
