Simple question.does the lie angle change when loft is altered

I'm finalizing the purchase of a Mizuno MP and sc18.

I've tried researching it but I can't find the answer whether a golf club's lie is altered if you strengthen the loft by a degree or so?

So it's safe to say that if I order my clubs through Mizuno and request the lofts to be strengthened by one degree, it shouldn't create a problem?

I certainly hope they should be fine. Mizuno is a quality company.

With that said, when I used to work in the business I ALWAYS checked them when they came in and it was not uncommon for there to be mistakes.....from any manufacturer.

Check length, lie, loft, swingweight, and grip size on every club when they show up.

I would not say concern. It is all depending how you attack the ball, typical miss and if you play in soft or hard course condition. As we are talking about MP irons my guess is you are not expecting much help from the bounce from start and will take the divot after the ball. If fat shots not are your typical miss i think you will be fine. Do you prefer high or low bounce wedges as a guide?

Also forgot to say that bending 2 degrees stronger will increase the offset slightly. If you are very sensitive to this you might notice it but most probably not.

I bend all my irons 2 degrees weak to deliberately increase bounce. I’m a digger. I love bounce.

Mizunos have very little bounce to start with. They will get a bit diggy.

All of you're info is great and I greatly appreciate it.

My misses are on the thin side and I very rarely hit fat shots.

I tend to play in softer conditions and the bounce that I prefer on my wedges is on the high side but nothing too extreme.

For reference, I've been playing the same irons since 2005, the Bridgestone j33 combos. They don't have a lot of bounce on them for sure.

In summary, I am a picker with my irons.
