Looking for some shafts that fits this criteria.

Stiff butt

Stiff tip

Soft mid

62-67 grams

Torque in the 3.2-3,7 range

Need some help with lowering spin without lowering launch. Don’t play well with soft butts and need some shaft loading to help control tempo

GD tour AD-DI 6 (too soft= too much spin)

AD-IZ 6 ( better but tons of spin if it has any fade)

Atmos Blue 7 ( better numbers but trouble with consistency as I lose the head. Cannot feel the head load)

Start by looking on where you make impact on the face. Most players with higher spin rates than they like, makes a impact thats too low on the face.

On Drivers, the ruler of spin is Vertical gear effects, so when we dont make impact in the area we should, gear effects over rule ALL OTHER parameters, and that includes Spin loft and Dynamic loft.

As a general guideline, make sure the center of impact is ABOVE the center line of the face.

On a 60* axis sole to crown, we change spin values by average 480 rpms for each 2/8" we move up or down, so it dont take much to cut off spin, just make sure you dont make impact below the center line of the face.

If you really want to take advantage of whats in that head and shaft you got, follow this DIY driver tune up.

If the shaft you got it good on weight and feels good, its no reason to change it for now.
