ECCO Biom G3

I'm curious why ECCO all of a sudden now is offering so many Gore-Tex models. The only real down-side on their shoes in the past has been lack of water-proofing.

Frankly, I'm a little miffed at ECCO right now. Between this new shoe, the Biom Hybid 3, and the new Ecco Cage Pro now being Gore-Tex, it's not going to be easy to decide on my shoes for next year!

As a long time Ecco customer, last years biom hybrids did nothing for me. I have owned every biom hybrid up to this year, and have loved the comfort and build, but the styling was off. I can hardly wait for these!!!!

anyone get a chance to try these yet? noticed they're up on the shoes.com site, but in limited sizes. if they feel just like the biom hybrid 3 but with spikes, i might buy like 3 pair and be done with shoes for good lol. my only issue with the bh3 is my right(back) foot has a tendency to slip every so often on my transition.

I bought a pair in shadow white when they had 30% off. I've only worn them inside but they are sweet; one of the best looking shoes I've ever seen. Out of the box, they were a little more snug than my Hybrid 3's, but the leather is of such high quality, they spaced out nicely after a couple of days with shoe trees in them. I definitely want a pair with the blue binding and green sole.

I’ve actually purchased and worn spiked and hybrid. They are both fantastic, best shoes I’ve worn, and I’ve worn a lot. Have a couple new pair of hybrids waiting for spring. I prefer the hybrid, the new sole design does not seem to get as full of grass etc as the old or spiked. Both great though.

The navy are sharp. They always do well with blue.

I have the latest G3 Model. No BOA, but they are phenomenal!

Wore two pair of the G3 hybrids last week on a quick trip - 5 rounds in three days. Great shoes. The power of good socks cannot be overstated, but my feet felt great, and the shoes look great. The tread pattern also doesn’t collect a lot of junk. Highly recommend.

Just ordered my first pair of Eccos, the Biom Hybid 3. Should be here in a few days. Tried them on and man, they were expensive buttttt niicccceeee.

I just got mine today. Very nice. These will be my wet weather shoes. Trues for dryer weather. True Knits in the heat.

My first pair ever too. White with the boa.. easily my favorite golf shoe ever.

In true Golfwrx form, I returned the G3's. In the end, I couldn't get over the narrower fit. Ended up exchanging them for 2019 BH3's: http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/1750940-2019-ecco-biom-hybrid-3/

How does the sole hold up? Im debating between the spiked and spikeless. Not that I need another pair but I like the looks of this lineup better than last.
